“The staff is friendly and welcoming. My class was very informative and it was easy to complete assignments with the fabulously well equipped shop. Questions are graciously answered. I look forward to flying back to take another workshop soon. Very well organized and plenty of excellent quality equipment.”

“Swain has a very large assortment of frames available. They’re one of the few frame shops offering French mats of the highest quality. Swain also has many paintings for sale in every price range.”

“I have been participating in art classes offered by Farmstead for at least 2 years now and keep coming back. The center is in a small historical building on beautiful grounds and it has a friendly, community vibe. The staff is friendly and knows everyone. The art instructors are not only top-notch, talented artists, but they are also extraordinary teachers. They've provided me with the space and staff to achieve confidence in myself and results, which are displayed and shared with the public. BTW, I've taken classes with several other instructors over the years. My favorite instructor is Oscar Peterson. He is motivating, encouraging, and inspirational in what he can do. Highly recommend him!”

“A historic fire house turned into meseum, not in the best astetic conditions, but the information provided is rare and of high quality... visitors should be willing to stay there for hours... like the senior ctizen army veteran like to talk and give as much information as he can... Mr Micheal is the charm that lights the old place ...”

“Fantastic teachers, spacious studio and plethora of class options to choose from for budding artists. This is the third semester running for my child & I'm lucky to stay within a reasonable distance from the school. Doug is an exceptional teacher and I can see how a lot of postive influence on my child who's in the 9-11 age range. They sure know how to teach kids !!”

“I was delighted to find and use L.A. Frame Co. this past summer for a custom framing project. Although I have had relatively good luck with custom products from larger big box stores, I wanted to support a local business person this time. From the experience, to the product, to the price, I was constantly satisfied by L.A. Frame. and G.J. couldn't have been better to work with. It was so relaxing to be in his shop and look at designs and options with him. Inspiration abounded. His ideas and recommendations were spot on. He helped me figure out what I really wanted the final product to look like (in terms of the look and feel) almost like a geologist might discern and classify the fine grains and underlying components of specimen to figure out what exact kind of larger rock specimen they had in their hands. I highly recommend L.A. Frame!”

“Mostly Asian antiques and collectibles. A previous reviewer thought mostly reproductions but that isn't true. Hours are sporadic. Stopped by and sign lit up saying open but it's not.”

“Since I am a HUGE lover of art and photography I fell in LOVE with this store since the 1st time I walked in! This store was actually opened about a year ago and then closed for relocation in which they moved the store to a different part of the mall. There are a lot of black and white photos here as well as color of different scenic backgrounds of other countries, some of people and many of animals. Additionally, the majority of the pictures in this store have a nice plexiglass that serves as a frame for the artwork. I actually purchased 2 photos here a few years back that I am still in love with to this day! Although I thought the pictures were a bit expensive, the photos justified the cost because these were pieces I fell in love with over a short period of time (I probably seen these pieces about 3 different times before I purchased them). The only reason I didn't give this location 5 stars is because no one greeted me upon walking in the store which was weird because the sales associates were just standing around. Customer Service is very important to me and that turned me off however, the photography is always beautiful at Yellow Korner and I can definitely see myself purchasing more art in the future!”
