I called to schedule an NJ inspection and got an appointment the same day. The inspection was done quickly, and I was on my way.

Steve is a master at repairing and servicing Saabs. If you’re an owner of this classic now defunct brand then def bring your precious car here. Knowledgeable professional and no nonsense along with reasonable rates. You can’t go wrong!

I remember that during hurricane Sandy it was impossible to get gas. I remember that this repair facility was square and fair with anyone wanting gas. They did not gouge people and did secret fillup's on the side like other gas stations did with their best customers. Warren Auto won my respect and we need to remember businesses like Warren Auto.

I went there to get an estimate for repairs to my vehicle and no estimates were given. Mechanic says he doesn't want to be held to a written estimate in case the work costs more. Other places have clauses written into their estimates for that. Hence the word "ESTIMATE" as opposed to invoice. I told him what work I knew the car needed and was pessimistic about being able to perform it. Then I presented a different car which is a Saab. He seems to be a former Saab mechanic having a few early and late model SAABs on the lot. Again very pessimistic. Citing the age of the car as an antique and parts are hard to find, etc. Owning the car that I have for years I don't need to be told things I already know too well. If I'm offering to give him two cars to repair I'm expecting to leave a big chunk of coinage. All I got was excuses like "the spark plugs may break trying to remove them" and who's been servicing the car all this time? Take it back to them. I'm going to have BOTH of my cars fixed because it has to be done. Warren Auto will not be the one place I'm taking them to. Sorry Steve, you just didn't seem like you wanted the business. Too bad. All I could think about for my SAAB for a long time was giving her to a SAAB pro for some TLC that I would gladly pay for getting my baby back on the road.

Steve is an eminently well- qualified mechanic, especially for Saab, but anything really. He is honest, dies the work himself and charges fairly for his time and expertise.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement

I owned Saab's for years and after moving to the area was looking to service my Saab. I had hoped to come close to finding a sound, reasonable and trustworthy mechanic that I was fortunate to have were I lived prior. (Props to you Sweet Motors). As I understand it, this place is an established shop who has specialized in Saabs. Unfortunately my impression of the owner, Steve, is that he is neither a sound, reasonable or trustworthy mechanic. I took my car to him on 3 separate occasions for different reasons. Each time there was some type of issue where either he didn't diagnose or repair correctly . He had some excuse as a explanation as to why, none of which included his own mistakes or disinterest as a mechanic who is maintaining a business. This resulted in returning the car to have him finish the job. Bringing the car there is an issue in itself because usually you have to leave a message and wait for a call back. This dispite the fact that he has I assume, his wife working for him in the shop. She by the way was cantankerous and rude and wouldn't even make eye contact with me whenever I brought my car. This guy has been around a while so he must have a core group of people who continue to use him. It's just that I'm not going to be part of that group.

Easy to do business with. My vehicle was fixed right and on schedule. They were recommended by a friend and I would recommend them to others as well as use them the next time I need a mechanic.
