THERE IS ONLY ONE REASON THIS REVIEW HAS 5 STARS! That reason is Tonya. We went through a lot with the delivery of a GE washer and dryer. Technically, it wasn't Home Depot's fault; it was GE's delivery service. BUT! With that being said, I bought the washer and dryer from Home Depot, so it was their job to make it right. After three attempts, Tonya got it done! Thank you! You are a model employee of Home Depot!!

We went to the minute key and it printed the keys wrong to the point where it got stuck in our doorknob and would not come out. We ended up taking the doorknob off the door and brought it to they key section and Al was able to get it out of the doorknob and not only fixed it but printed brand new keys for us and made sure they worked. We had no clue what we were gonna do and thought we were going to have to scrap all of it and take a loss on the keys that we purchased but he saved the day! This man deserves a promotion because if it weren’t for him we would have spend way too much money trying to fix it.

This is just an overarching issue with home depot, but i cannot use a self checkout line without an employee trying to help.
Yall realize people use self checkout to avoid interactions, right?
TWO employees tried to help me when i went to self checkout this time.
Someone always checks with me to make sure I'm in the right line.
They let you know the SECOND someone is done like you dont have eyes.
If you have 5 seconds of a problem they come to help.
Its always just a bother and a nuisance, if i wanted help id just ask. Im not an idiot i can actually figure out how lines and checkouts work, it's infantilizing and annoying.
Not to mention the mansplaining. if i, god forbid, spend a few minutes looking at stuff trying to make my own decisions. someone literally handed me what he decided i should buy one day AFTER i told him i didnt need any more help because he didnt know ANYTHING about what i was talking about and wasnt being helpful
Theres a guy at one who stops and asks if i need help the second he sees me, clearly just looking for an excuse to talk to an attractive woman, because he doesnt offer this help to the men around me.
Like guys just leave the customers alone.
Yall 4 employees standing around self checkout all the time? Just have fewer people on the floor, they're so bored theyre being obnoxious.
My kindest interpretation is that they think i need help because im a woman in a hardware store, and breh. Its 2024. Cut it out.

Their staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. I repeatedly asked for help and was ignored. I finally got someone to acknowledge my presence and they were useless. All I needed was help loading mulch due to a bad shoulder.

Home Depot Closet services might be the worst ever. Deceptive sales practices, showing higher end shelving and then delivering laminated glued shelving with chips. Incompetent installation where they used cardboard paper to create shims . Shelving not attached to walls. Brackets that are not appropriate and don’t match. Took 4 weeks to get initial. Then another 6 weeks to come back and fix 90% of closet only to find out all the stuff they ordered is wrong. I have contacted managers in sales and service and they have done nothing. DON’T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS DEPARTMENT
