Doctors: 5 stars. Receptionists: 0 stars. This isn't the first time I've dealt with unprofessional and immature receptionists here, but being "put on hold" in the middle of my sentence is where I draw the line for what I will tolerate, I guess. When I called back, the second receptionist was professional, until I asked for the name of receptionist #1 (Nicole). Since I wasn't able to provide feedback over the phone about the lack of respect and professionalism, I decided to leave a review, in hopes of it being monitored by the practice. Based on the number of reviews I see with the exact same feedback, I'm guessing this is not an area that's monitored by anyone that is in charge of hiring. The doctors and nurses are always absolutely phenomenal. This practice has such potential, but when the first people you talk to and see upon arrival are this difficult to communicate with, it is most certainly a fast track to leaving this location, despite its extreme convenience and wonderful doctors. Requiring receptionists to engage in respectful communication, at a minimum, would work wonders for your business.

Dr. Martinez is very pleasant, however his front desk staff are the complete opposite. Specifically one of the receptionists , Christine Allison. She had a very rude demeanor & attitude. Also rolled her eyes several times. I feel bad leaving a bad review, since Dr. Martinez is a great doctor. He should be more mindful of the ladies he has working the front desk, especially Christine.

I agree with all the other posts about Dr. Martinez being a great Dr. to go see but the receptionist are generally rude and not helpful at all. I really hope they read these reviews and do something about the bad experiences many people are having from the receptionist’s. I hate calling the office. Every time it’s the same thing.

I seriously cannot understand the hate on here for any aspect of this practice. I've been here for myself and for my son [in an emergency]. Not once have I been treated in any way that was other than stellar.
The front desk is helpful and receptive -- they have always called back or worked with me to schedule an appointment as soon as possible. I've never once been disrespected or made to wait more than what I would expect on a doctor's office phone line.
Dr. Martinez and Dr. Corcoran are both phenomenal doctors. I have to compliment Dr. Corcoran specifically as been an integral part of my post-partum treatment. I've only seen Dr. Martinez in emergency situations, and each time he has treated me with respect and care.
Overall, I would suggest this doctor's office to anyone in need. They do really care, regardless of what some bad google reviews have to say.

Dr Martinez is cool to talk to and he listens to you and your concerns but the one receptionist is incredibly rude and disrespectful not to mention unprofessional and should not be considered for customer service,it's just the one receptionist there that's a witch, she called and said they have to cancel my appt and I asked why is that? She said they don't take my insurance,I said really after seeing him for over 4 years??? So called my insurance company and they were 200 percent nicer than her and the supervisor asked me if it's ok to do a 3 way convo w them and even mrs mcnasty was rude to the supervisor, after about 20 minutes I asked Ashley if she could hang up and I said I'm finished w them for good so called Coventry in Phillipsburg and they take my insurance so in closing don't go to hawkpointe or unless you enjoy being disrespected go for it,don't say anyone didn't warn you...

I’ve been coming to this place for years Dr Ian Martinez is absolutely amazing. The problem I have is the front desk. The girls at the front desk are so rude and disrespectful. It’s amazing how they got a job in customer service. When you call the office they sit there and say please hold when really they sitting there talking to each other and got ppl waiting on the phone for 10-15 minutes or so. I’ve seen it from the office Stan point too. The disrespect from the front desk is disgusting and ridiculous. If you don’t like your job then put your 2weeks in and move on. Like I said Dr Martinez is a great doctor I would highly recommend him as your doctor but if you want to be disrespected by the front desk then be my guest.

I would highly suggest everyone to go anywhere else than here. You’re treated poorly everytime. At least that’s been my personal experience.

Great family physicians, very clean place, Girls at the front desk are always sweet and warm and welcoming, I haven't gotten the chance to get to know very many of the doctors here and I have to be honest with you My primary care physician was Dr.Kolpan and he was the specific reason that I chose to make them my primary, he was the only one that I would ever see, hands down the best doctor I have ever met, seen, had, known etc. And if I'm being honest since he transferred to only the Clinton location I have found that I make excuses for not going to the doctor when I need to and should have...It's really been a bummer that the doctor I had formed a relationship with and trust in is just gone like that....I've found it hard to make the step to give another doctor the chance but all in all this place is a great place to bring your family.

I have to show up for doctor's appointment with a bad hip instead of just sending me for a x-rayi m captain of my own ship I know I need an x-ray so I came there for you to tell me to go to the down stairs office you know I couldn't walk. I had told you this on the phone when I was making the appointment that said I went upstairs to the normal office to be told by the rude receptionist from Pediatrics that they're not here I asked where should I go I was told not here very rude and non-compassionate. Go to the X-ray place in Clinton and the only problem there is why don't they ask 50-year-old women if they're pregnant? Their response was a giggle and a laugh I was not kidding You just assume everybody goes through menopause. is there a system or a note that you guys are looking at. that's another place with no compassion you have a little 12-year-old girls running an x-ray machine I don't feel very confident I'm done with this place I'm finding another doctor seems like it just hiring anybody I'm looking for a job I could probably do worse than them cheap too

Went there early Saturday morning for a walk in appointment. They took care of me quickly. The receptionist was very polite. They took me in the back within a few minutes. The doctor came into the room soon afterwards. She took her time with me and answered all of my questions. I would definitely go there again for urgent care and for regular doctor visits.

I love my doctor! She is so caring and supportive in making the best decisions on how I should take care of my body and treat it well.
