Not going to lie. This isn’t one of my fav ShopRites for reasons I’m not going to write lol. This review is just one to say how the female with glasses in seafood is amazing . She never seemed unwilling to help . She even smiles sometime lol. Just makes the shopping experience better to know people are nice and not miserable so thank you.

The worst ShopRite. They know they’re the only grocery store in town and use that as an opportunity to be terrible since people have nowhere else local to go. The store is always dirty and constantly out of sale items. Produce is terrible. The self check out is the worst anywhere. The pharmacy can’t seem to get their shit together and meds are NEVER ready when they’re supposed to be.

Might be the worst Shoprite I’ve been to. Most disgusting sushi I ever had. Literally my dog wouldn’t even eat it. Food is dog crap. Do better!! All the shoprite’s around put yall to shame.

Stay far away from here! The store is dirty, the meat room and meat section looks and smells NASTY. Whoever is in that pick up room I've heard yell and insult other employees and the management here is useless and play favorites and operate on retaliation.

I rarely give reviews, but this clearly needs to be addressed
No issue with rest of store, but the Deli. I order via kiosk as soon as i get in the door, then shop....the Deli has never ever met the time estimate.
1) clearly the time to complete needs to be adjusted for which day it is, Friday, Saturday or Sunday,
2) at least 20 minutes to 40 minutes later
3) to give some credit, when no one is in the store during weekday, the dell meets the time estimate
4) based on some observation, you may need reallocate resources when the Deli team falls behind...ie a runner to deliver finished orders, so team does not walk away to cooler, then back, look over orders, wash hands, new gloves, repeat, Better to have an idle runner than a skilled deli member
Dont know if staffing, performance or need an AI estimator adjustment, but have a look and adjust accordingly.

The bakery is the worst of any grocery chain. They are always out of fresh Italian bread. The desserts are always the same options. I don't understand the cake options where you can only buy them in a package of 2 slices. Can't you just sell the whole cake? The fridge cases are filled with low quality cupcakes and mass produced cheesecakes. The cakes behind the glass are OK but always the same options. Go to some other grocery stores and get some new ideas. You guys have gotten way too stale.

Overpriced. I love to compare prices and this place is crazy. I just go to Walmart. The only good thing here is the pharmacy.

“Fresh” produce section is horrible.
I order from the deli via app 30 minutes before I arrive at the store and still have to wait for my order.
Self checkout needs to be upgraded. The bagging area is horrible. You train your customers to use self checkout because you can’t hire actual cashiers. Take some lessons from the ShopRite in Flemington.
Prices are still too high. Better selection and prices in neighboring towns food stores.

This location / company needs a change of management. Your employees are now more focused on counting how many items you have in your cart and harassing you to move out of the self checkout than helping. Meanwhile, you have three cashiers open with a line 3 people deep each and nobody in the self checkout. This has happened to me on several occasions. How does that make any sense? I can't wait for an Aldi or something to open in the old A&P location. Until then, I have gone back to driving to Flemington to do most of my shopping at BJ's. Nobody harasses me when I try to scan my own groceries and the attendant will even sometimes offer to scan everything for me. I guess they like my money more than Shop Rite. But hey, I'll give your store two stars for being conveniently located and clean for when I have to pick up milk and bread.

The deli department is a total mess. Pick a number, enter your order on a kiosk and either way you’ll have to wait forever for service. Very disappointing!

The deli workers at this store are consistently the laziest and most inept I've ever come across in my life. Let me address three things.
1. Whoever decided to stop cutting meat to order should be fired. You are turning off customers and losing money by cutting unneccessary amount.
2. They dont have the ability to slice anything thinner than a ham steak without it shredding. I prefer my ham SHAVED.....and even if they learned to slice it, they lack the common sense to place sheets of wax paper every 6-10 slices so it doesnt just press into a meatball in the bag.
3. They dont even cook or cure their own meats. When I was growing up, Food Town used to make their own hams, turkey, roast pork, and roast beef. This crew cant even slice properly yet alone know how to improve the selection.
Dont waste your money at this place. Also- who was the genius that added apples and watermelon to the pickled beets at the salad bar????

Don’t bother with shoprite from home. It took over an hour after checking in for pick up. No one even acknowledge my presence or the delay for 50 minutes. Closing manager Tammy couldn’t care less

Joseph Godleski's recent disturbing long drawn out false accusations of what transpired on the day that man harassed a worker there named Jennifer. I was there waiting for my lunch meat and it was very busy and Jennifer was literally running around helping people and apologizing about the wait. That man harassed her and accused her of all these things and something like this can cause someone to lose their job! This is unfair and I hope she is still working there as I haven't seen her lately. I am a frequent shopper in your store. She did not deserve the way he treated her that day she apologized a bunch of times and was even in the middle of slicing his order and he was still complaining. I think she actually got scared this guy could hurt her. He was irrate!!!! I approved of her not wanting to continue to help an irrate man yelling about lunch meat! It's childish and weird!
