I went in to buy a battery and get it replaced. They gave me a hard time about installation and offered a mechanic nearby that would charge me a small fee. I ended up leaving because they weren’t kind at all and I thought they offered free installation. Sounds like the managers are getting a kickback from recommending a mechanic.
