I have NEVER been treated so poorly in my life by a pharmacist.
I went here to get a prescription filled because my primary pharmacy did not have it in stock and this pharmacy had it. My primary pharmacy is Riverview Pharmacy in Wayne. They are wonderful there!!
There was a women pharmacist at this pharmacy who gave me a name 2x, once on the phone and the other time when I was there in person. When my dr called the pharmacy to discuss why she gave me such a hard time about the medication and to tell them they are impeding on his treatment, they said they didn’t have a pharmacist there named that! I’m still so confused.
I have a rare debilitating condition and I was lectured by this women pharmacist there and was made to feel terrible about the medication. I think she needs some more education before she starts passing judgment on people. She said some very degrading words to me.
I actually left there in tears.
I have been told I can report her, but I figured a Google review on her was sufficient.
I did speak to the head pharmacist there about the situation and he was nice and apologetic to me.

This is the best pharmacy I have ever used. Their efficiency, kindness, helpfulness is beyond what you would expect. I live 2 blocks from CVS and 3 blocks from Walgreens and although it takes me approximately 28 minutes to get there I can get my prescriptions filled quicker than if I went to either of the 2 pharmacies I mentioned. Even if you are bringing in a new prescription and you hand it over it’s filled before your finished saying hello to the other employees. There’s so many great things I can say about them and they carry everything. Besides medications they have walkers, wheelchairs, crutches etc and if by some chance they don’t have what you’re looking for they can order it and have it the next day. Absolutely fabulous!

Black Oak Pharmacy is the best for customer service & efficiency. Nothing against the big chains but this small business provides superior service.

Honestly the best pharmacy I’ve ever had. They are so kind, knowledgeable, and helpful every single time I have any interaction with them. What’s also great is they are locally family owned and operated. As someone whose family has their own small business, I can appreciate all the little things they do to go the extra mile. I’m grateful for their continued help and will always promote them!

The entire staff is so compassionate and willing to go above and beyond for your care and needs. I can't even begin to describe how wonderful they are and how fortunate I feel to have found a pharmacy with such amazing and kind people. Really God sent. I 100% recommend them and will continue to use their services.

Kind, patient, helpful, and professional. Got our sons covid shot here which was a difficult experience for him, and they made the experience so much less stressful for us. Easy online appointment booking, no crowds during our appointment time, and the most understanding group of people while our son (he is only 5) was so scared of getting a shot. Truly empathetic and helpful. I will always prefer a family friendly pharmacy over a large chain. Great place!

Great people who are extremely knowledgeable, informative, and genuinely care about their customers. They have quite a selection of medical supplies for all needs. They really go above and beyond to assist and answer any questions. No other pharmacy compares. It really is a great business with phenomenal people.

I just started going to this pharmacy after years at CVS and I couldn't be happier. They are super friendly and so accommodating. I was always going to CVS who never had my prescription in stock even though I've been a customer for 10 years and it was a monthly prescription and I was on auto refill. I would get there and they wouldn't have it and be rude about it. This pharmacist is so professional- orders and gets the medication within a day and there is no wait or run around. Highly recommend! Clean, well organized, and awesome Customer service.

I would give Black Oak 50 stars if I could. When pharmacist 1st started practicing, the Black Oak service was the norm…now with the chains you are a number on the assembly line. John cares about you - he’ll get you the best price. He once met me in a snowstorm on a Sunday (their closed on Sun) to fill a script knowing they’d be closed because of the storm the next day…no lie!!!

Honestly should be called WHITE oak because this business is racist. They sent away me and my friends who were POC for Covid testing and then starting taking other guests. They were more polite to me as I am white passing and allowed me to get at home test. Also kept lying to people over the phone saying they didn't have tests when they were testing people Absolutely insane that this treatment goes on regarding health. Really upsetting- and on Christmas Eve too.

While I was picking up medication for my mother, I expressed some concerns about her prognosis and condition. The owners, Jon and Rebecca, were extremely sympathetic and reassured me that things will be alright. Rebecca even recounted a story from awhile ago about someone with the same condition who responded positively to the same medication my mother will now be taking (no names were given of course!). I left their pharmacy feeling hopeful and renewed. I highly recommend them, and they will be getting my business from now on!
