Sorry this might be long but I believe everyone should know this about Chase Policy if you have elder parents that bank with Chase .
My dad and mom bank with Chase for years. They had a Premier and Sapphire account. They moved to NJ from Alabama and worked really hard both retiring from Marcal Paper Mill. My dad King Murray got sick had to do dialysis eventually he had to stop driving due to eye sight loss and hearing loss and mom Edna Murray started to lose her short term memory due to Alzheimer's. Me and my oldest sister reside in NC, while my little sister and her two girls resided in NJ with my parents.
My mom and dad was proud of their granddaughter she was quite and graduated from college and they trusted her. So once their health got worse they depended on her to do their laundry, grocery, and pay bills but she was never put on their account. In May we had to go to Jersey for my dad funeral and we decided to get dad death certificate and take Mom to bank to make sure that she would be able to pay her property taxes and take care of herself because my youngest sister lived there but really didn't pay no bills. We went to branch in 1401 Valley Rd Wayne NJ, and spoke with Sharon and branch manager Van and once he pulled the account his eyes look at us and he turned the screen toward us out of $137000 as of 2022 there was only $6000 left my parents savings was gone. We did what we had to do to get this money back. My niece had open a online account and connected her cash app to the account and when I say there was withdrawal sometimes over 10 times and day in the $100's and their was transfers from my parents account to her account sometimes 5-8 times a day in the $1000's. I asked why didn't Chase cash it? I was told when you niece open the account she always did these type of transaction so that was the online history. My niece was smart she knew not to write checks, go buck while shopping, go crazy ATM withdrawals, and etc because that was not my parents history and it would of flagged the account.
We also went to the Chase bank here in Greensboro NC 435 Pisgah Church Rd and spoke with Sherese Thomas branch manager.
We open a fraud complaint with Chase, went to sheriff department, report it to elder abuse at local Social Services, and gave all my niece information like work, phone #, and address. We had to move our mom to Greensboro NC with us and sell her home my niece took my dad two cars BMW and Mitsubishi Galant which was in my dad name. So we waited Chase fraud never asked us questions. We got a letter stating a little over $3000 was returned to my mom new account that we opened and because we waited so late to open a claim that's all they can return. Their policy is if you wait to late they only return the first two months of the fraud. I couldn't believe it how was we supposed to know? My dad couldn't see and mom had dementia and the person they thought they can trust had took the whole retirement savings. Plus cashing their pension checks in ATM then turning around withdrawaling them. Also draining their Social Security derect deposit every month the checking was -$299 when we went to the bank.She got her body done, cash apps was in her name , and the transfes was from my dad account to hers. They told us it was all in black in white. I called the fraud department to tell them I don't want to sign off on this. I ask them so if a Billionaire whom is in his or her 80's and bed ridden bank with you guys and his nurse steal from him for years and the family members don't find out until his death and in the first two months of her stealing she only took $500 to test the waters you guys gonna say oh well we didn't cash it and and you guys caught it late and just give the family $500. So billions is just gone. The representative said sorry that's our policy and the ppl at the branch shouldn't have gave no advice that's not their job.

Took them 30 minutes to tell me they couldn’t look up my account despite being able to look it up a week ago and having my name & ID. Incompetent people working behind the counter.

This is my second time here with Marilyn and she’s just amazing !!!!!!!!! with everything she does , I was going open a business account with another bank but Marilyn just made me stay with chase and made me feel like family

Website says 830 am for drive thru teller mon thru Friday. Monday morning 852am drive thru still not open. Wouldn't be a big deal if you just changed the time on your website to 9am . But instead I have wasted almost 30 min waiting for drive thru to open

I have been a chase member for about 1 year now and have nothing but positive feedback. When I was planning a vacation, I had paid in full weeks in advance and used by debit card. However, a family emergency prevented me from going. I had contacted the hotel and they were refusing to refund me in full. Chase immediately had my back and made sure I was returned all of my money. The tellers are all friendly as well as the rest of the staff. Depositing checks is simple and the chase app is forthright and easy to use. I would recommend chase to friends and family without hesitation whatsoever. A great branch in wayne, happy to have my money there. Thanks Chase!

Terrible customer service! For a chase location I have way higher expectations. Not only are they not friendly when taking my money, but have an bad attitude and do not fulfill simple requests.
