Worst service. Went to get my tires checked and rotated and they damaged my rims. Had to talk to a manager and fill out a report. Corporate got involved and only offered partial resolution. Will tell friends and family to stay away.

Even though I arrived on time for my appointment, I waited for an hour. It took 2 hours in total. They work very slowly. Not satisfied at all.

I purchased tires from Costco because it’s a good deal and it comes with the service and warranty that was very appealing. But what a headache!
They don’t treat their jobs with care. I came the first time and they told me they couldn’t get the wheels off because the wheel lock for my Lexus was stripped. I went to the dealer to get another one made and went back to Costco to try again. This time they said that they couldn’t get the last one off and asked if I could go back to Lexus to see if they could replace the wheel lock with regular lug nuts. I saw that the brand new wheel lock key I had made was again stripped. I still haven’t gotten my tires put on but this experience has totally turned me off to the service. Lesson learned - it’s discounted for a reason. I would have just paid to have Lexus install my tires but I would have lost the warranty but in the end I’ve had to pay the difference in what I was trying to save by going with Costco anyway.

I was a bit concerned based on the reviews here, but I believe most of these complaints were due to NOT having an appointment. I made an appointment to replace all 4 tires on my car, and I was in and out in 45 minutes (honestly a bit too fast, I did not even have time to get my shopping done in the costco). Entire process was easy, you go in and check in at desk, place a magnetic number on the roof of your car in the lot so they can find it, then they call you when they are done. You can wait around by the tire garage, or go back into the store to shop/do whatever. Whole thing was very easy and seamless. Would definitely recommend using Costco tire center. Again, i think these bad reviews are just biased because they tried to walk in without an appointment. This place is very busy, fully booked, and they do a great job.
Also there is no haggling or upselling, their prices are online, right in front of you. They offer QUALITY tires -Bridgestones, Michelins, Pirelli types and none of the cheapo low quality chinese tires that you get sucked into at the midas type shops. Yes you may pay a bit more, but honestly for the extra 100-200 bucks total, I think it is worth it to get the better name brand high quality tires. Side note, Costco offers 1 day deals on major holidays (memorial day, july 4, labor day, etc.) where I noticed some good discounts if you order all 4. I waited until memorial day and got 4 bridgestones turanza everdrives for ~760 before tax. Check their site especially on major holidays.

I visited Costco Tire to ask about scheduling an appointment to replace all four of my tires. The representative at the counter told me that if the tires were in stock, they could install them immediately since there was no wait. That sounded great, so I agreed to move forward. However, I quickly realized this wasn’t true—there were actually several cars ahead of me and actual wait was over an hour.
Had I been given accurate information, I would have happily scheduled an appointment and returned at a set time instead of waiting with my groceries. This experience was frustrating and completely avoidable. Costco should improve how they communicate wait times to ensure customers can make informed decisions.
EDIT: The rep apologized to me for the delay and wasn’t sure what happened since he didn’t see any cars pending. I appreciated the apology, but the tire center needs to adjust how they operate so there isn't confusion amongst the employees on the amount of cars in queue.

My car battery was dead in the parking lot of Costco at 8.00 PM. Jetton was really very nice to come and help though it was freezing cold. Thank you!

Came in for a tire rotation, but they didn’t balance it. Then I marked my tires with sharpie and specifically told them rebalance only, don’t rotate. They rotated tires exactly where they were before. So basically I completely wasted 3 hours of my life to get it back to exactly how I came with it. Not to mention that the guy working there has an ultra-unfriendly demeanor.

It’s impossible to get anyone from the Tire center on the phone. They never answer.

I had an appointment and still ended up waiting over an hour and thirty for them to even see my car (I have an app to check its location/when it’s turned on), and then over an hour for them to be finished. It was literally just a tire install/balance/TPMS calibration and they managed to screw up two of them. The TPMS were never programmed and the balance was off, which I noticed once I got onto the road and started driving.
Never called me when service was complete and I didn’t find out my car was done until I went to ask them.

ZERO star!!!
I had tires installed at the Costco Tire Center in Wayne last month, and since then, I've noticed air leaking from the tires and a low tire pressure warning. I returned to Costco to address the issue, but they refused to fix it, claiming the air is leaking from the rim and that they are not responsible for the rim. They suggested I take the car to a mechanic to have the rim cleaned or buy a new one.
However, cleaning the rim is part of the tire installation process. A corroded or dirty rim can cause air leaks, which should have been addressed during the original installation. Now, I’m left with flat tires and have to pay extra to have the issue fixed by a mechanic.
I would not recommend getting tires installed at this Costco Tire Center, especially given this poor experience. It’s disappointing that they’re not standing behind the quality of their service.

I recently brought my Tesla in for a tire rotation, and the service took much longer than expected—about 2 hours. What made things worse was that they broke the habcap clips during the process. This experience has left me frustrated with the quality of service provided. I hope this can be addressed so future customers don’t face similar issues.
