One question.
Can a professional pharmacist refuse taking a medication order from Dr's office?
Last Wed March 12'2025, I made a phone call to CVS. I left two messages, a few hrs apart. Finally, a few hrs after my second message, pharmacist David called us back and started telling me what we have to do. We do not leave messages with the name of medications, only DOB and the name of the patient. We have to be sure that our patients will receive their meds. So, David for two minutes was telling me what to do and in the end r e f u s e d taking our antibiotic medication order for our patient. David l e f t our patient without antibiotics.
What do you think? Was a professional pharmacist right to refuse medication for our patient???

I have been going to this CVS for years. I also had the problem of them constantly claiming they did not receive my doctors prescriptions
I wrote corporate office 9 months ago to complain and it has not happened again
Someone from corporate actually called me and apologized. But I have to change drug stores now. I take a medication that is refined every 30 days. I have been getting this medication for 3 years. If I can't get the refill on time I will end up in severe pain THEY KNOW I TAKE THIS MEDICATION
3 or 4 times during a 12 month period they.do not have it in stock. Are you kidding me who is responsible for taking inventory. Now I have been given a new medication for my heart and I have been told that if I miss even one day I can have a heart attack
Should I trust this prescription to them hello no
So i am looking for a new pharmacy now today while I again wait for my medication that I was supposed to pick up 4 days ago but it is not in stocking. I wrote corporate office again but I do not expect any improvement

I was looking for the second bottle of magnesium. Magnesium was buy one and get the second one free, I asked one of the cvs employee and he told that they didn’t have more! And then he told me, you can get one bottle with the 50% off. I didn’t know that before. Thank you!

Cashier was very rude and very disrespectful, I asked him a question while I was purchasing infant gift card and a newborn card about the fees and he rudely answered, I asked him to call the manager he refused and I was so embarrassed in front of all the customers behind me in the line.
Then I just paid and left.i never had this bad experience in this CVS before.
Very very bad experience

I rage quit using CVS as my pharmacy after trying for a month to get mental health meds refilled. 4 weeks and I was almost out and they still wouldn't do it. Almost out, and you can't stop taking mental health meds suddenly. You have to wean off them. I kept calling and they wouldn't do it. My drs office finally told me they have trouble with that cvs all the time. So, I switched to another pharmacy in my hour. They refilled my meds in an hour. They encountered the same issue that was holding up the cvs, but whatever they did to fix the problem got it for me in an hour. They're going to kill someone soon with the way they run their pharmacy. Or don't run it. Seriously. They probably already have.

I must say that the staff here is very dismissive, no emphaty extremely rude for the line of business they are in. No respect for your illness or time.
Everyone gives you a different wait time depending on how they feel, I had a pharmacy clerk say to me "I don't have time for this " because after me waiting for 2 hours for a multi vitamin that I was going to pay out of pocket. I asked why it was taking so long to get ready, and I was given an attitude with an unwelcome vibe. The person who works in drive tru and in the pharmacy treated me like I was wasting their time doing the job that they get paid to do.
Pharmacies should have a better wait time experience and communication in place to set better expectations that will result in a better experience from the moment the prescription is received
I'm switching to a different pharmacy that can train their employees to provide better customer service experience and communication skills

The patience these people must have is phenomenal. I’ve seen plenty of bologna and they handle it well. The pharmacy is always helpful.

Absolutely not. Horrible staff at prescription center. She had a terrible attitude and was acting like everyone was wasting her time. I would not recommend this pharmacy as there is another one in Wayne. Unacceptable.

Especially at Pharmacy, pick up lady, so rude, she was being very disrespectful when I was trying to explain my situation (acted like I was wasting her time and mimicked me) very disrespectful behavior. I will not use this store again.

I came here to complete a refund and Monira was my associate, she was super helpful and polite, couldn't ask for better service ! I also encountered a gentleman who I didnt catch the name of (had black hair) , but he helped me with getting my balloon inflated and he was super nice and quick; those 2 definitely deserve a raise! I also met with Nouha ( supervisor), her service was OK, could be better especially for working there nearly a decade you should know by now how to do certain transactions and not pretend that you don't....I say this because my family knows her and has been coming to this cvs for yearrsss. I was disappointed in her and ended up going to a different cvs to complete my purchases because she wasted my time.

Rude staff. Not pharmacists who give medication(they are great), but the lady on the billing counter. Went to collect photos when I got the notification from CVS. It seems they either lost it or handover it to someone else. They had to reprint it and the lady on billing counter was giving full of attitude as if it was my mistake.

$10.00 for a box of Cereal!! That's disturbing!!! Not to mention the self check out lines are ancient or broken 1/2 the time. They make You wait forever to pick up your prescription and make mistakes that no other place would. They need to get with the times and update
