I’ve always gotten gas here without any issues, but today was different. The attendant was on the phone when I asked to fill up with super. He acknowledged the request but ended up pumping 87 (regular) instead. I didn’t notice until the tank was nearly full, but he did stop the process once I pointed out the mistake.
He was apologetic, but unfortunately, my car doesn’t take 87. I’ve had problems before when this happened at another station which caused poor engine performance and check engine lights. While I understand mistakes happen, the attendant should not be on the phone while assisting his customers.
Let’s hope I don’t have the same issue with the car again.

I went around 7 pm and I was the only car there. I waited an entire 2 minutes for the attendant to finish his phone call before he came to my car. It's not like he didn't see me. I was parked right at the booth.

I started using these guys to service both my Mercedes trucks and will continue. Warren and his guys here are the best. Price is right and the customer service is the best and they are very knowledgeable about what they are doing. Great service and friendly staff!
They did an excellent job replacing the compressor on my Honda Pilot during the scorching heat wave and to finally breathing cold air again.
They managed to fit me into their busy schedule, and I’m very grateful for that.

My daughter parked her Toyota at a friend's house in Wayne for 2 weeks during some international travel. The car wouldn't start the next day and she was at a loss how she was going to get back to Connecticut in time for work that afternoon. She called Wayne Shell at random for roadside assistance. Maury responded within 15 minutes and jumped the Toyota. My daughter followed Maury back to the service station where Maury checked the battery, found it weak (it was 4 years old) and replaced it for her at a very reasonable price. Considering the quick response time for the roadside assistance and the quality and completeness of the work, I was extremely satisfied. More, my daughter had been anxious about her delayed departure causing her to miss work. Maury resolved the situation promptly and professionally and got her back on the road so quickly that she made it to work on time, even after the 3-hour drive. Maury, thanks for helping out my girl. I wish Wayne Shell was my neighborhood service station. They'd be my first choice.Service: Battery
