Well Shop rite is presently preparing for a change of location. They've removed the previous Store Manager. Big Mistake. The previous Manager's way of accomplishing and communicating Task Goals were conveyed in a employee minded way, New Manager, Do as I say, the Customer Rules. Really, keep that Attitude and your Employees will abandon ship. Which is exactly what I have been seeing. Turn around after turn around in Employees, business's most important assets are being lost. No one likes that Totalitarian Style. As far as the store procedures changes in operations, in the wrong direction. Moral has changed due to this new Ruler with clearly hidden agendas in mind. The new Manager and his intents are known by most of the employees.
Clearly this individual sets the Tone for Shop rite and the Key Is Flat.
If it wasn't broken why fix it. It's so obvious what this manager is doing. Trying to impress and move up without any compassion for fellow man.
This store cutting the fat at the employees cost, see how far that will you. Shoprite was such nice welcoming environment. I am a customer of 20 yrs. This store, as all other are individualistic in nature, due to how Managers run the show.
So store Food and Goods Qualities Excellent, Business Model Not Good.

Always check your meat and expiration dates before u leave...and the workers are the most unpleasant shop rite ever. Get another job if u hate it so much . Pro why your meat is always spoiled ..to lazy to walk it back just leave it wherever.

Bought this nutrigrain in July 2025, it had expired 6 months ago and they have been trying to sell it on sale.When I brought this to customer Service, she just gave me a refund.No apology, and she just tried to brush it off as quickly as possible.

Our community has welcomed ShopRite for many years. My mother has been a loyal customer since I was a child. However, I am deeply disappointed by her recent experience.
My mother asked a clerk in the office for a flyer, and while the clerk responded that she needed to finish putting them out, a cashier came over to ask for a flyer as well. The cashier then said, “I don’t know why these customers come in here every day, busting down the doors.”
This is completely unacceptable, especially when speaking to seniors. Customers are the sole reason your doors remain open, unlike other stores that have closed in the area. Respect and proper customer service should be shown to everyone who shops here.
Since that incident, my mother has not felt comfortable returning to ShopRite on her own unless she is accompanied by myself or her grandchildren. It is disappointing that a place she trusted for years has now become somewhere she feels unwelcome.
This review will remain here as it is important that management is aware. Although my mother refuses to identify the cashier involved, I strongly recommend that all employees receive a refresher course in customer service and are reminded to treat every customer with dignity and respect.

ShopRite store is the best, but the lady in the flowers department she’s mental !!! If i stop using shopRite the only reason will be that lady!!!!

I ordered this brownie two days prior to the event I had to attend to clearly it’s Olympic themed I gave simple direction and I would assume a lot of people know what the Olympic symbol looks like it has 5 colorful circles why are there 15 I even gave a reference photo and they still messed it up I gave them time and it looks rushed I even asked the manager if he could scrape it off and do what I asked and he just acted so nonchalantly towards the question I was asking him I will never be buying from this bakery again

worst bakery section of any shop rite...in fact all of the bakery sections in any shop rite owned by Inserra is the worst...they have a small selection of products and one week you find what you need then you dont see it on the shelf for a week or 2. 80 % of the time i go here they never have fruit danish in the bakery dept and when they do they make like 5 packages of each flavor and they are gone by 10 am...Inserra needs to take a look at rochelle park shop rite and see what a bakery section at a shop rite should look like then try to do the same thing.

As far as a ShopRite goes, it's okay at best. I like Wayne's StopnShop much better for cleanliness and shopping experience.

Love the music they play at this location. Makes shopping a bit more enjoyable. Clean, large, and well laid out.
Please start carrying Dole pre made salad bags though! Fresh Express or whatever brand currently being carried isn’t nearly as good.
