Convenient place to stop and get lottery tix, etc. Never actually tried to buy a breakfast sandwich or anything but I will in the near future. The kid there in the afternoons won't greet you or speak to you, just looks at you. Odd situation

Went in here for a Taylor ham and cheese sandwich several times in the past two weekends. The bald headed guy who makes the sandwiches always has a friend that he's talking to when I walked in each time to buy a sandwich. He just looks at me and continues his talking and laughing. I waited 3-4 minutes each time and when he didn't even acknowledge me I walked out.I have yet to get a sandwich there. Guess I'll just keep going to Bagel O's down the street.Terrible way to run a business. Place is sooo cheap.Just stopped in here one more time on the off chance I cud get a good sandwich.Ordered an Italian sub with oil and vinegar. Asked if the rooms were soft. What I got was a several day old kinda hard, not fresh, sub tool. Not what I asked for. There was a small amount of ham on the sub. One thin slice of cheese and a paper thin slice os salami and a paper thin slice of tomato.Just cheap, greedy unacceptable sub.I should have checked it before I left so now it's my fault. Wow, what a surprise because the sandwich on plain bread seems to be ok.I'll never order a sub here again. This will be it for me at this place, felt I should report.Yesterday I went in here after work, 5:30-6pm, bought a turkey sandwich and some stuff off the shelf. One of the items was a jar of sliced pickles.I get home and start eating the sandwich which was nice, and opened the $2.99 jar of sliced pickles. I took a bite and the pickle tasted terrible. Couldn't eat it.So today I go in after work again. Same kid is there. I order another turkey sandwich. I grab a few other things off the shelf. When he is done I put the jar of pickles on the counter, tell them they were no good and ask for my $2.99 back. He says he has to call the owner. I say ok. While he is dialing the number he says, he knows he has to have patience with certain customers! Meaning me. I actually congratulate him for his diplomacy! And tell him he should be congratulated for telling someone to go f*** themselves so nicely!I then told him I would never shop there again and I would report this on yelp and other places. Imagine being told to go f*** yourself when trying to return a bad item you bought in that store! You've been warned.I'm not going back. It was a young male who said this at 6:00 pm on Tuesday.Never again, not me. The hell with this p

The man who owns/runs this store always has an attitude and prices are not reasonable. If you don't have customer service skills a deli is not the business to be in!
