The groomers here are fantatsic!
I have a medium size husky and she has a maximum attitude. The groomers are experienced and patient and they did such a great job.
Ill never take my dog anywhere else for a groom.

Took my kitty to get her nails trimmed during Yappy Hour. Grooming staff was great! Took all of 2 minutes and we were done.

This is my go to place for all of my pet supplies. I love their sales and my dogs absolutely love the treats that I get for them there. It is never disappointed me. Also love the fact I can order online and pick up either in store or curbside. I even love when they occasionally have the same day delivery for free. It saves me a trip to the store. I love their buy to get the third one free offer. This is what I use most of the time to buy my two dogs their treats. Thank you Petsmart.

We bought a cute couple of finches and four days later, one died. We had to bring the dead bird back into the store for a refund (it’s very strange returning a dead bird). They said their vet had to examine it but I am sure they just threw it in the trash. We asked to speak to the manager but he hid in his office. The staff did not apologize and they would not call other stores to see if any had a friend for our remaining little guy. They also said the company’s inventory computer was often wrong so they could not tell which stores accurately had any replacements. We also informed the staff (for the third time in a week) that one of their expensive conure birds looked very sick. Despite promising to move the bird and have it examined, they didn’t do either and the poor bird is suffering, badly. Overall, the store reminds me of a puppy mill except that they treat all their animals terribly. I would not return to this place and will not shop at a retail pet store ever again. I recommend no one else does, either.

I think I had the same groomer as Brandi Marie!
My Shihtzu is 10 yrs old and has never had a problem before. The groomer was in a mood & yelling at the dogs for absolutely no reason.
When I picked up my dog she was totally traumatized and it’s been a month. She shakes, wont even eat her beloved treats. Follow your instincts! Do not make the same mistake I did. JoJo

The employees are kind and the store is clean. My issue is with the conditions of the bettas. Keeping them in cups leads the uninformed to believe they only need a small space to thrive. Selling half gallon tanks marketed for bettas is just as bad. These are tropical fish. They need a filter and a heater in a minimum of 5 gallons. They do not live in puddles in the wild as many are led to believe. Google an image of a rice paddy and you will see that they actually live in quite large bodies of water with lots of vegetation. I don't blame the employees. It's just a job for them and they probably don't get paid enough to do it. This mostly comes from a corporate level, but management must have some control. Some Petsmarts and Petcos across the country are doing better by putting their bettas in 5 gallon filtered and heated tanks. Some are putting the more mellow ones in tanks with other peaceful fish. Others have devoted a whole section to bettas in individual tanks. Managers: do research and do better! About 50% of the bettas here have fin rot of varying severity. You can usually tell which have been in the store longest because their cups are cloudy and they are lethargic. Most have dull coloring from being stressed and cold. They frequently have mislabeled bettas. I saw one today labeled a dragon scale. It was not a dragon scale, however, and had the worst stress stripes I've ever seen. That fish will die in his cup because no one will buy a dull gray looking betta. Historically, this store will discount a sick betta if you ask. Some should really be free to those willing to treat the health condition, but I realize that's a corporate issue. The last one I purchased at a discount due to obvious illness has permanent swim bladder disease. I put together an accessible tank for him and he is happy and healthy otherwise. Several months ago, I saw one that was clearly unwell. I asked them to give him to me for free to attempt treatment because I was skeptical he'd make it through the night. I was told they are unable to give them for free but could discount. I watched it take its last breath before the employee could even make it to the manager for approval. To sum it up, keeping bettas in unheated tiny cups is animal cruelty. Selling sick bettas is unethical. I pray that management will either educate themselves and do something to better the conditions of the bettas or that they will be replaced by new managers that will.
