After being exposed to bed bugs from staying at a hotel I contacted terminix to handle the problem. They sold me a $1500 plan without doing an inspection (albeit, he took my word for it so I wouldnt blame the inspector). The first treatment was pretty involved, steamed my mattress, cases for all beds and box springs and treated baseboards. They did not however treat any of the outlets any of the three times they came to "treat". The 2nd and 3rd treatments consisted of only spot treatment and not baseboards or outlets. I ended up having a dog come out and it was confirmed the bugs had moved to another room as well as an outlet, presumably because of the spray. Either way, the spray didn't work or it scared them to a different area of the house. I have now spent over 3k having my house treated. I reached out to terminix twice to inquire about a refund and it seems I've been ghosted. I was told the district manager would reach out to me, its been two weeks and I've heard nothing. I wish that they would just respond to my inquiries instead of me having to put them on blast like this and have my credit card company handle it.

My problem is with the call center that schedules the technicians and inspectors. On 2 occasions recently my inspector was not notified by the scheduling department of Terminex he was supposed to come out. It was his day off and when I called the call center to ask where he was they called him and he said no one scheduled him but came out anyway. Second time was the technician was scheduled for a follow up termite call to my house and again... he was never scheduled for my house and I sat and waited a half day for him. I called the call center and all they had to say is we'll reschedule you. No explanation. I was really mad! I do have my technicians card and texted and left a voicemail as to where he was for his supposedly scheduled follow up since he was a no call no show after me waiting again for half the day. He called me and apologized and said I was not on his schedule. He graciously will be making a trip out in the morning to see my issues. I feel really bad these employees...and us customers have to deal with unknowledgeable, very poor customer service. Is there a person in my branch office I can speak to about this? I put out over a grand for the year for Terminex service. I am with the Berlin NJ branch

Shady salesman tried to sell me a $2500 treatment plan with no termites present. Confirmed with second opinion that there is no signs of Infestation or damage. Additionally, had there been treatment necessary my house was quoted at $1,100. I was so suspicious I searched "terminix lying about termites" within minutes of the sales person leaving my house, so i feel compelled to leave this review for those who are in a similar situation. COMPLETE SCAM - TREAD LIGHTLY WITH THEIR INSPECTION AND TREATMENT RECOMMENDATIONS.

I had a technician come out on Thursday 5/26 to service my garage for squirrels getting in. He came out and sprayed foam and set traps. During the service he also noticed ants in the attic of the garage but he couldn’t service fire them as he was only able to treat for rodents. When the service was complete he stated he would be back on Tuesday 5/30 to follow up for the squirrels and would also have someone out for the ants as well. I took off work to be at the horse that day and no one showed up. A few days later I reached out to the technician to follow up since I hadn’t heard anything and was told he was super busy and would let his boss know. A few more days go by and still didn’t hear anything. I then started trying to call the office to only get in touch with people in a regional office who said they would have someone from the West Berlin office contact me. Still haven’t heard a thing. I spent over 1300 for a single service to just get left in the dust with no follow up communication. Go with another company.Service: General wildlife removal

I just moved into my home in November. I'm a born and raised farm kid so I've always lived by "They won't eat much". As soon as the warm weather broke we wound up with an ant problem I couldn't solve. My boyfriend also noticed a mouse and we set several traps with no luck at catching anything. Well it's been about two weeks from our service, and almost all of the ants are completely gone and the mouse traps that were set finally caught the mice. Our technician, Steve, was on time, and answered all of my questions. He went above and beyond to make sure I was aware of what he was using and went over everything to ensure the safety of my dog babies. 10 out of 10 would recommend this company. Not only has my issue been resolved, but my dog babies are safe, and now the pest that won't eat much have stopped terrorizing my cabinets and now my pantry is safe too! :)Services: Rodent extermination
