Stay away from this AAMCO location. The manager, Greg DePalma, is a wolf in sheep's clothing. At first he will sweet talk you over the phone and persuade you to come in his shop so he can over charge you for the diagnostic check when they already know what the problem is but they just want to milk money out of you. Greg's demeanor and attitude will change if you decide not to fix mechanic the problem at his shop, he will become rude and nasty with you. Please stay away from this shop. The mechanics are also shady as they are all incompetent foreigners.

These guys do great work and are very accommodating. I had a tricky problem with a unique vehicle and css as me through at a very reasonable price. Raymond was easy to deal with and great at explaining what was wrong with my truck. 10 out of 10

On the 2nd of October I brought my car to the aamco in west caldwell due to my 2018 cts Cadillac having a jutter issue with the transmission, I took the car previously to dealer ship where they recently replaced my engine which took 4 months. They sent me the car back telling me everything was fine and it would perform like new, however that was not the case I was experiencing a lot of difficulties with my transmission and other parts of the car. They did not inform me of any issues yet they charged me an insane amount for the job. With my frustration I decided to go to a private shop “AAMCO” as soon as I walked into the store the manager Mr. Dipalma the shop owner introduced himself to me shaking my hand with a smile on his face. I spoke to him about the car and without even finishing a sentence he already knew what was going on with my car. He wasted no time getting himself and his staff on job to help fix my complaints he also noticed that a couple major parts of my car where left untreated by dealership these issue could of racked me up an insane amount of money even after already spending a lot on a brand new engine. He was quick to diagnose and fix 3 major problems I had with my car something that dealership would of made into a months worth of work. He specifically specializes in Cadillac and when I got the car back I felt as if he gave me back a brand new vehicle. He is a blessing and genius in his line of work I hope that anybody who has problems would come to him so that they can get the best experience out of there time, money, and car.

I brought in my 2000 Buick LeSabre for oil leaks. Greg explained to me in a way I could understand what causes this to happen to a car. Greg explained with the number of seals and gaskets located around the engine bay, oil can leak from almost anywhere. Greg called me within the hour and told me to come see the car and that he will explain in detail what they will do and how long it will take to fix it. Greg showed me where the leaks were. He gave me options. That helped make my mind up if I wanted to fix it or not. Car is fixed and has no more leaks! Also, they did a FREE multi point inspection and told me what needs to be done for future repairs. He is very thorough! It's nice having an honest mechanic that will tell you what's urgent and what can wait or even worth fixing. Times are hard for a lot of people right now and having some time to save up and budget for the repair is nice. I will be bringing my car here for all my mechanic needs. Thanks to Greg!

I took my go to check the transmission they told me that they were sensors, after one piece they changed the oil and then the transmission did not work and I lost the oil and filter of the transmission.

I brought my vehicle to multiple mechanics. Then finally saw the sign that AAMCO fixes air conditioning. I dropped my vehicle off for an estimate. Greg DiPalma assured me he would check the vehicle for free(which none of the other shops were willing to do) called me an hour and a half later and told me how much it would cost to repair my air conditioning. It was half the price that I've been quoted from all these other shops that I've been to. He was so professional, courteous and always kept me informed on my repair. The vehicle was delivered before the time he promised. And my air conditioning works better then when my car was new.
I would definitely recommend this repair shop for anyone to get there vehicle fixed!!! Greg is the most honest, the most understanding and does what he says he is going to do! The rest of the staff is also kind and professional too! Thanks Greg for repairing my vehicle.You now have a customer for life! Anyone who needs there vehicle repaired go see Greg !!!! He is a very honest and reliable person !

This team of Professionals are amazing!! I went to get my battery tested, and didn't know what to expect. This place is the best I have ever been to! They are helpful and give a good deal. My guy Randy is the coolest man I know!! Love him. The mechanics are nice and cool guys too. Trust me, they will give you a good deal so come to AAMCO if you need help with your car! Hat off to AAMCO, mechanics, and my guy Randy.
