Absolutely horrible customer service and virtually impossible to deal with! DO NOT waste your time working with this bank. I spent hours on vacation dealing with nonsense and jumping through hoops to have a simple problem (they caused) corrected. I wish I could give this place zero stars!

I don't respect people to be super nice and friendly but if I'm going to your work establishment at least be professional and it seems like this place wasn't very welcoming

Opening my own mental health practice and being a mental health practitioner; I called the bank to inquire about opening a business bank account. The branch manager was so rude and way to aggressive. Before making the appointment; I went online and filled out a time to sit with him; which prompted a phone from him stating he had other appointments and was to busy to meet me. Honestly; banks come a dime a dozen. I guest I’ll choose another bank where customer service is more of a important issue.

Horrible experience during a very emotional time. The lack of cooperation was underwhelming. I visited the branch manager to explain the atrocious behavior of a teller, it was as if I was speaking to a robot. Customer service is not part of their repertoire.

M&T is the absolute worst bank to bank with. I honestly believe they are still using technology from 1985 and everyone who works there is clueless. Save yourself the headache and bank elsewhere.
