We've been thrilled with our experience at Satori WLB. My daughter started a little later than average, at 10 years old, and with a great support system, quickly assimilated. It's so fun to see her development physically each week, but even more rewarding to see her confidence grow. Sensai Jose gives these inspirational talks that hit the mark every time. I find myself inspired listening from the audience and I know he's making an impact on my child. But it's not just him; the whole staff is so engaged and so good with the kids!

I did a self defense class tonight with Christine, she was excellent in the West Long Branch location. Very informative we all walked away with some very good tips! If you ever get the chance to take one of the adult classes highly suggest you do.

My daughter started less than a year ago at the age of 3, and she absolutely loves it. She has learned so much from all the instructors. My daughter is learning so many life lessons. Thank you to all the staff!!

I recently enrolled my 7yr old at Satori Academy. I was immediately impressed by the warmth and easy approach that made my child feel at ease. Usually apprehensive with new people, he was made so comfortable to take on the instructions from the get go. Both Sensai DeLeon and his stellar staff took time to instruct him with the basics. He has since, been showing more confidence and enjoying his sessions. I would highly recommend this Academy, as even I have been encouraged by the instructors to improve myself and push myself to a healthier lifestyle. 10/10. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

My 3 yr old daughter has been attending classes at Satori Academy for about 8 months, and it’s been a fantastic experience! The instructors are patient, encouraging, and know how to engage young children in a way that keeps them excited and focused.
She’s learned so much, from coordination to confidence, and we’ve noticed a big improvement in her behavior at home too. She always looks forward to class.
Highly recommend for young kids!

Sensai Jose is amazing with the kids since my son joined her has gained confidence not only on the mat but outside the mat and with making friends for instance on Sunday at CCD he overheard the teacher saying they were short a wise man for the play that day he quickly raised his hand and asked if he can do it to help out .Even though his missed both rehearsals they were excited he was able to help out last minute, he did great with a crowd of people watching when he performed 🎭, he used to be shy and timid before joining satori martial arts in West Long Branch I recommend this place not only does it teach discipline and self defense it teaches confidence and to help others when in need

My son has been going to Satori for about 3 years now, and I there are not enough words to express how grateful I am for them.
When my son had tough times, they noticed and reached out to ask how they could help and they actually did everything they could o help him go through whatever it is he is going through. And it didn't help just once.
I am grateful for the whole staff, specially for Sensei Jose, who has my son's back 100% of the time.
And of course, I also love their teaching techniques.
