Horrible customer service. My ATM card was stolen at this branch on 8/26/2023 and money was withdrawn from my checking and savings accounts. I submitted my claim from the mobile app that evening as soon as I realized my card had been stolen.I personally went to the bank on 8/28/2023 and had to wait on line for over an hour for assistance. I’ve been back to the bank twice to inquire about the progress of my claim regarding the money withdrawal from my savings account and all they’ve been able to give me is a claim # but no resolution or at least an expected date for the return of the funds. I’ve tried calling the 877 number for inquiries about the above mentioned and all I get is an automated recording but never an actual human. I’m beyond frustrated with this situation. The security guard at this location doesn’t do his job either. He just sits in a chair by the door and socializes with the customers. If he would’ve been paying attention, perhaps this wouldn’t have happened. As we all know this branch at 6050 Bergenline Ave only has one or two tellers and waiting time is beyond ridiculous. I’ve been seriously considering switching banks. I’m a very disappointed and dissatisfied customer.Update: My fraud claim has been denied and the case has been closed. 11/16/23Update: I’ve appealed their decision and the case has been reopened as of 11/30/23.New update: My appeal has been denied once again as of 12/5/23.

First I don't like to write a bad review but this is the only way that I find to get some attention.But this is the worst customer service ever in my bank experience , today on a Monday it was only one person helping with customer service, but service is so bad that after being waiting an hour and a half they ask me if I want to keep waiting because they don't know how long is it going to take, it's very frustrating they are always making people mad hopefully the people that are in charge of this locations notice that this place is going down and do something about it.

The location is overloaded. Always long lines and not enough of tellers to handle the volume. Try to avoid if possible

This guy said that they couldn't help me today because reps were taking care of other customers and they closed at 5pm, that they didn't have enough time. 4 customer service people and it was only a few minutes past 4:30pm....???

The manager and associate at the door wasn’t helpful. They open late 9:15-9:20. I declined to help me said I have to make an appointment.then said they didn’t have appointments available till 3weeks from now. I went In just to change my pin the 5mins that they kept giving me excuses why the couldn’t help me. It could have been done.They make me want to change banks.

Very crowded all the time, even when is not peak hours. You have to wait on line for a long time at any time of the day, any day of the week, even for the ATM, the most of the time there are only 2 tellers working, and is seems to be the bank's practice around here, because any BOA you go in this very populated area, they have the same problem. This is a shame been one of the first banks in the nation, having big revenues every year, and charging customers high fees for everything.Shame on Bank of America, no wonder people are moving to other banks. Really advice people to not do business here.

Friends aka amigos, This was one one the most disturbing reviews. My mom (89 years old) went to get a document notarized for my uncle who passed away and needed a document notarized for a burial stone. She attempted to get document notarized on four different dates. Each time she was told comeback later? She walked about 10 city blocks each time in 90 plus degree heat. She finally called me from the bank and told me of the situation that no notary was working and to comeback at no particular time just later. I to my mom wait I'll stop by. I was told comeback tomorrow? I asked what time? No just comeback. The employee said GO to UPS to get your document notarized. There was a female employee sitting at a desk overhearing the whole conversation. She said she was the notary. How wrong was this that she didn't to do her job and totally frustrate a 89 year old customer because she didn't want to get off her a** and do her job!! A second female identified herself as a "temporary " manager who only said yes we know she's a customer. This is shameful how people hate there job and take it out on customers. BANK OF AMERICA I think not ! F Bank of America forgot the bailout by Americans. Americans did not forget!!

Its shameful for a bank the size of this bank to have the longest lines ever with 1 or 2 tellers for the amount of customer they have in north jersey. Shame on you manager and management. A customer should not wait the length you make customer wait to do business with you. Come on you ate making money of the clients. At least show some respect for them!!
