By telling me his honest assessment of what he has in stock, he basically lost a potential sale because it is not what I need. He could’ve lied, manipulated or even tried to bs me in a way to get a sale (like my previous experience)

It takes so vanishingly little to set yourself apart in this world. If all they had done was provide quick, same-day service, and help us back out into a busy street, this would have been a five star experience. They did all that - be sure - but in the midst of a refreshingly honest transaction, you meet Christine, a paragon of diligence and clarity. And who could forget Charlie? “Excellent experience! I had a screw in the tread of my Tesla Model 3 that left me with a flat tire. They came out the same day, within about two hours of opening, which was much sooner than I expected.
They were friendly, professional, and answered all of my questions. They had the proper equipment to safely lift a Tesla, although it ultimately wasn’t needed. They repaired the tire quickly at my location, saving me from having to tow the car. The entire process took about 15 minutes.
The price was reasonable and fair—I shopped around beforehand, so I know. I also appreciated supporting a family-owned business. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for mobile tire repair.”
“Silver star Alloy wheel repair did an amazing job on my Tesla model 3 wheels. They were all bent due to potholes most likely from this past winter and now the car drives like it was brand new. “Honest people!! I was traveling from out of town on my way to Philly from Westchester, New York and all of a sudden several lights came on my dashboard. We were told to stop at this place to see if they could help. A nice young mechanic came out and checked the codes and saw that it was the transmission body control valve. He spoke to his boss and they both said it was OK to drive it and there would be no problems. I made it back to New York went to my mechanic and showed him the same issue and he confirmed there was no threat to driving it. I really appreciate the honesty and the helpfulness that day. We had a great time at the concert lol

“I caught a flat on the Jackie Robinson Parkway while I was on my way to an interview. I Googled the nearest tire shop and made my way to The Tire Place, hoping it would be something simple.
When I arrived, Cathy had one of the mechanics check out my tire. Unfortunately, I didn’t just need air, I needed a replacement tire. They didn’t have one available, so they had to order it, and I was told it would take about an hour to arrive.
I was honestly feeling defeated. I told Cathy that I had an interview in 45 minutes and was still about 30 minutes away from the interview location. I had no choice but to wait, so I started calling to see if I could reschedule my interview for later that day or another day. They told me they would call me back and let me know what would work best.
Then Cathy did something I will never forget.
She sent one of her mechanics over to ask if I would be comfortable with him driving me to my interview
I was hesitant at first, but I accepted.
He drove me to my interview, and thankfully, the interview went extremely well When I returned to The Tire Place, I thanked Cathy over and over again. She simply told me that she felt bad about what happened and wanted to help.
A week later, I found out that I GOT THE JOB!
I truly believe that sometimes the kindness of a stranger comes at exactly the right moment. Cathy didn’t have to go out of her way for me, but she did.
