A couple of months ago, I booked an acrylic fill in and gel polish here, admiring the professional website, their generous open hours and the ability to set everything up online.I wasn't even mad at the price, even though $91 is quite steep! All would have been fine, had I not received one of the worst nail sets of my life. Every single nail was bumpy, none of them were the same shape, some were sticking up at weird angles, and no matter how many times I asked the tech to fix it, it kept getting worse. Not to mention, the acrylic/gel was not flush with the natural nail at the cuticle, creating a really ugly look. Just yuk.At one moment I thought I stepped into a twilight zone, or that I'm being pranked. Surely no one in their right mind would think this is work of a professional nail technician? Photos speak for themselves.I was lucky my coworker, seeing the horror I had endured, gave me a contact of her reliable tech who had an opening just a few days later - and that it was winter, so I could wear gloves until then.I cannot, in good conscience, recommend anyone to go to Exclusive Nail Studio for a manicure.

I have been a customer of Exclusive nails for years after a nail infection from my other salon. What attracted me there was their focus to cleanliness which is top notch. Lala, the owner really strives to provide great nail care each and every visit and uses high quality product. Her dedication to her business, her brand, and her customers is very evident. We only grow together and I’m proud to continue to support this black own business!

Unprofessional: the lady doing my feet didn’t know what she was doing. The owner(blue hair) had to tell her what to do multiple times! This is why I don’t support black business. It's a very unwelcoming place. Don’t go here; if I could give it a zero star, I would! Then, when the nail lady put lotion on my feet, the owner(blue hair) got mad at her for doing so. It's not a welcoming place!

I really struggled with leaving this review but I think I had to for the business to take this as constructive criticism. I had an appt on Saturday 12/17 today is 12/20 and my SNS had chipped already. Upon arrival I didn't feel welcomed. But after I sat in the chair I started some small talk with LaLa and she eventually warmed up. We talked about the lack of blacks supporting black businesses and other issues. Overall the conversation went really well. But as I watch how she applied the SNS powder several times I knew my nails would not come out as expected. Needless to say the finished product was subpar for the $82 I paid. I'm really sad because I wanted to come back. But based on the quality it's not worth it. I had a pedicure also with a few problem nails and the polish has chipped off too. The math ain't mathin. I'm so disappointed and feel disrespected. I've followed this business for 3 years and was confident I would be satisfied. We need to do better for sure. I think if she knew me I would have had a better outcome. Black women need to respect each other and consider the struggles we go through to make money to treat ourselves to services like this. Anyway I hope this salon still succeeds but not at my expense.

Made an appointment online for a 50 dollar gel pedicure. I had gel on my toes already so I was charged an addtl. $15 for gel take off and $22 for a french design on my toes. My total was $88. I have never paid this much for a gel pedicure and wouldnt have minded if the job was worth $88.Service: Pedicure

Lala seemed like a very nice owner when she greeted me and spoke to me but it just seemed as if she didn't want to be there. Assuming because I had a later appointment. So I understand that I have small nail beds but i've been able to maintain X-Long acrylic/gel nails for about 3 weeks before the polish would start chipping and nails started to break/fall off but when i got my medium length set done by Lala (wasn't able to do long) she just rushed through it and my set only lasted for about a week. I was really disappointed because they were a very pretty red coffin shape yet they just didn't last at all. So I ended up having to go to a new nail salon to get a fresh set paying $60 in comparison to be paying the original $140.

The worst businesses I have ever worked for. I was working under the table as a unlicensed nail tech and I was promise to be on the books and never got that. Once she hired a license cosmetologist that was a nail tech for years, the owner Lala started to act weird because she started to get questioned for the way she ran her business. The owner Lala talked poorly about some of her employees and gossiped about her clients. She felt some type of way about the connection that I've made with her new employee and starting to act weird. I like to build a connection with employees because it makes the work environment fun and supportive and her new employee and I became great work partners. Because I was learning the business I was curious as to how a nail shop is ran and I began to annoy her because I was asking "too many questions" But that's only because she was doing illegal things that didn't seem right and I was questioning it. She wasn't lying her employees fairly and has been very unprofessional also not taking proper covid safety precautions. She's overpriced and the skill's doesn't match her prices. Don't give you money to this business it's a waste of time.

This establishment is a complete rip off. The website said $65.00 for a full set and charged my 12 years old $90.00 for a horriblely done full set with no design. I will never patronage this place again. The owner should be ashamed of herself.Service: Acrylic nails

Lala did a great job. She took me as a last minute walk in on a Saturday. I was pleasantly surprised to find out they were black owned. The prices are a bit steep however given the service provided it was considered fair! I'll definitely be returning thanks Lala!

I literally just got my nails done on Saturday morning and within hours the paint lifted off of my thumb. So I called and was able to get that corrected that same afternoon. The very next day I now have four other fingers with the same issue. So I call multiple times and finally get through on Monday to be told to either come back and wait for my nails to be corrected with no estimate on how long the wait will be. Or the alternative is to book another appointment online and pay yet another deposit so my time will be guaranteed. I paid over $100 my nails to look like this in less than 24 hours?! I’ll support an establishment that provides quality products and better customer service. I work hard for my coins and shouldn’t be forced to throw money in the trash. I was going to refer others but after this experience, I’m good. You’ve been warned ladies and gentlemen.Services: Pedicures
