The people there are racist no one wants to speak out to the white Jewish people there being racist to the black workers. The man downstairs in the cafe is stealing. The administrations have favoritism. So many employees left because of the dysfunctional management and how they treat the teachers upstairs. I suggest no one to attend there establishment.

DO NOT ENROLL kids for swimming on the Marlins MetroWest swim team. The head coach Cynthia McConnell is extremely rude and yells at kids. If anyone happens to ask any questions she just starts yelling at people. We had a major incident today at a swim meet where we had registered for participation but it did not show up on her records and she was extremely rude to us and my child and asked us to leave. She was yelling at us and humiliated us in the presence of many families. Cynthia was pointing fingers at us and was not at all considerate about looking into why the confirmation was not showing up at their end. Cynthia is a very average coach but considers herself to be an Olympic gold medal winner. She has severe anger management issues and I do not feel my child to be safe in her training. She literally stands outside the pool and let the kids swim barely focusing on the stroke development. She is not just rude and arrogant but also uses foul language to children. Cynthia has absolutely no patience in dealing with children and behaves in a very rough way with kids. None of the kids on my child’s team like her. I will be lodging a formal complaint against Cynthia for her to be dismissed of her duties. JCC metro west has a wonderful facility and the management must take note that they will soon start losing members if coaches like Cynthia are retained. I will recommend all parents to check who they children will be receiving training from before enrolling. This was a very disturbing incident for my family and I hope JCC metrowest management take note of the issue and take strong action against Cynthia to ensure that kids do not have to train in fear and can enjoy their swim lessons.

I have been working with Lateef Portee in JCC’s (West Orange) swim department and he is fantastic. He breaks down swimming in simple steps for adults and is very patient. Very happy that I decided to join JCC to learn swimming. Lateef rocks.

“I have been to this location in the past and I must say, they’ve really turned this gym around. People actually greet you when you walk in the place.

This is a beautiful facility but they don't care about their members. Their website advertised a family swim, but when I showed up with my 2-year-old both pools were closed for a swim meet, even though the meet was only using 1 of their 2 pools. The staff was dismissive and acted as if it was my mistake for showing up, even though their website clearly showed family swim at that time. I emailed Member Services about this but they did not respond.

I was a very happy and dedicated JCC member for over 25 y. until the pandemic. After returning when they reopened and putting up with too many cumbersome, illogical rules and regulations, I was getting so frustrated that I had to leave. First though, I put in a tremendous effort to communicate with Membership and share my frustrations to no avail. I have not returned and know that many other members haven't either. I miss the "old" JCC and would consider returning if: - opening hours were what they used to be - they offered the same variety of classes for working people who want to work out late pm and on Sat. and Sun. - they no longer catered to retirees and stay-at-home/work at home moms/dads - eliminated Covid restrictions that are no longer making sense - the very high monthly fees would actually be worth it

I go to this gym almost every day and it's always pristine, upgraded, and a welcoming environment. Notwithstanding shabbat, I wish they were open later on Friday/Saturday.

The complex is very big. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Everything was super clean and tidy. Temp checks and proof of vaccination are required to enter to ensure a healthy environment. Interior signage it right in point. It's impossible to get lost in side! ? A great place to visit and as the sign says out front, "Shalom! Everyone is Welcome!"

Teachers and facility are wonderful. Our kids started late in the school season transferring from NYC, but it has turned into easily their favorite school, and we almost feel they’ve always gone here!Administration is top notch- and with the pandemic really ran a well-oiled operation.Looking forward to our kids spending another year!

Our kids were enrolled in swim lessons here. It sounded perfect because of the year around indoor pool. The first couple weeks were ok. And then the teacher started cancelling at the very last minute. He would confirm the day before the class and then the day of the class he would cancel just a couple of hours before class. This happened 50% of the time. The kids need consistency to be able to learn. Would not recommend.
