“I write this with a full heart. I can’t say enough about how wonderful this dry cleaners is! I came in with a very unusual request — I needed help taking body measurements for a traditional dress being made abroad for my wedding. I live alone and didn’t have anyone available to help, so I called to see if they offered this kind of service. Without hesitation, they told me to come in.

When I arrived, they welcomed me warmly and made me feel so comfortable. She kindly helped me video call my tailor overseas and followed his instructions step by step, taking the exact measurements he needed and reading them out for him. She was patient and sweet.

At the end, when I went to pay, she refused to take any money — she did it as a pure act of kindness. I insisted, but she wouldn’t let me. I was so touched. This dress is for my traditional wedding back home in Africa, so her kindness means more to me than words can say.

You can tell they really care about their customers and their community. While I was there, I noticed they greeted regulars by name and even joked around with me and made banter. They clearly go above and beyond, whether it’s last-minute requests, unusual needs like mine, or just their day-to-day service.

If you’re looking for a dry cleaners or tailoring service that genuinely cares, is flexible, welcoming, and provides exceptional customer service, look no further. I am beyond grateful for my experience here and I will absolutely be back. Highly, highly recommend!”

“These guys are really good. My go-to cleaners of 15 years closed during covid. I quickly discovered that finding great cleaners in West Orange wasn't so easy. Initially, I wasn't exactly convinced and made the mistake of leaving these guys and going to Essex Green Cleaners. I returned here after a negative and pricey encounter with those people. (It's just suit cleaning, not a night at the opera!) The big test was altering my $1700 Tiered Gown. They did a great job, and they didn't rip me off. I'm pretty happy, and that's saying something! I noted complaints here about the $10 credit card minimum. Is it annoying? I guess. I look at it this way it likely helps keep the cleaning prices reasonable. For that, yes, I will come with cash!

“There are many laundromats in the area to keep up with the many apartment buildings devoid of laundry rooms. My building being one of them, sometimes I like to do drop off wash and fold. I've tried a few of the other laundromats in the area and this one thus far is the best. Each time I've gone it was smooth and always ready in a real timely manner. My guess is because it isn't as popular as the others and a bit off the beaten path so to speak which is fine by me. My latest visit I dropped off at 7:45 AM and it was ready by 2 pm, way fast than other times. On top of these the folding and packing is just perfect. Everything is always nicely presented in these large plastic bags that I like to reuse. I also like how there is never any issue with them accepting card payment. They use a clover handheld device.My preffered laundromat and suggest it if you're needing to wash clothes and be a bit more low key while doing it.”

“Xtreem Kleen is a clean, modern, and spacious local laundromat. The facility is well-maintained, and the washer and dryer prices are fair. One major perk is the parking—definitely a huge plus in the area.

However, I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 due to an ongoing issue with the card readers. After my first visit, they’ve consistently been “out of order.” A few months back, I asked if I could load funds onto my laundry card at the front desk (since they sell detergent and other items there and accept cards), but I was told no—and that the card readers would be fixed soon. That was four visits ago.

Luckily, I’ve had cash on hand during my recent visits, so it hasn’t been a huge problem—just frustrating. Unfortunately, today was no different. I asked the attendant again if there are plans to fix the card reader, especially since the machines require a special laundry card to operate. It’s frustrating that I can pay for retail items with my card but not reload my laundry card the same way.

To make matters worse, my bank is about 15 minutes away, so now I have to leave after already starting my laundry just to withdraw cash. It’s a real inconvenience that could easily be fixed with a functioning card reader or alternate payment option.
Please fix this!!”
