“I was a Banfield member, but I had to use Cranbury Animal Hospital for my yorkie surgery. Wonderful experience & I have been using them ever since & it has been 3 years since the surgery. They are always able to get me in for an appointment. Nice, friendly staff. Great doctors that listen & take their time with your dog. Never rushed! They give you the cost upfront, so there are no surprises. I prefer Cranbury Animal Hospital compared to Banfield.”

“I had an emergency visit with my dog Ruby this evening for the first time. All the staff was very friendly and professional. Dr. Heinzmann was very nice when she came out to speak with us. At the time there was no wait so they took her back right away. The price was reasonable not overly expensive. I would highly recommend them for emergency visits!”

“Dr. Skolnick is always pleasant and wants to be sure our dog, Tukker, is healthy. Tukker is not always as nice with her, as he does not tolerate well the necessary sticking and prodding of veterinary care. This means extra charges for special care when he gets his vaccines and full physical, but it is of course worth it. His latest was a wellness visit for a plane trip with none of that business. So Tukker was happy but alert, and the visit went well.”

“Dr. Rashid has done an incredible job taking care of my pet budgie. I was very concerned that my budgie was going to die because of a previous similar situation with another budgie of mine, but Dr. Rashid hit the diagnosis on the nail. My budgie is feeling so much better and I couldn't be happier. Dr. Rashid has also taken care of my cat, who is very difficult to pill and even handle and barely lets you touch her and she was feeling better on her injection in a matter of 3 days!! You will not regret choosing him as your primary care veterinarian whether you have an exotic pet or a dog/cat. He has an extensive exotic animal knowledge I haven't seen with other exotic animal doctors. I couldn't be more grateful to have Dr. Rashid as my pets' primary care veterinarian. You rock!!”

Sadly my vet Dr. Katie Parker left and I now go back to Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital and use this vet as a backup. I was very disappointed no one ever told me.
I finally went back and was very happy with everyone at the front desk and with Dr V who I adored but now she hasn't been there for 3 or 4 months and the other vet just left and there's only one that left that doesn't even see you in person she just sees the dog and charges an arm and a leg so I'm very disappointed right now!”

“We have been taking our dog Neo to Homecare Vet Clinic since we adopted him from the shelter 5 years ago. The last few days Neo has had a nasty cough and I called over the July 4th weekend and was put on a last min appointment waiting list and promptly Monday morning I received a text for an appt that afternoon. I can’t express how pleasant every interaction with the team at Homecare has been. From the reception desk to the vet techs, and doctor herself. Everyone on staff is so nice and the care and attention they give Neo is so special even when we moved a bit farther away, we make the journey to their office. Every time we visit we walk away knowing what the plan of care is whatever the illness, we know should we need to try something different we can come back with open arms and everything is always explained in great detail and attention. I love that they follow up to check in as well, truly just a great vets office. I just had to share what a fantastic team they are to anyone who is thinking of taking their pup don’t doubt it! “This place is amazing. After a bad visit to a pet ER my cat was still sick. I called Progressive and Gwenn was super sweet and understanding about my concerns for my cat and got us in right away. Every single step of the way was explained in way I could understand. The vet tech Carrie was so gentle and caring and Dr T was amazing. They were in constant communication with us. Explained everything by using the actual x rays and toxology reports, so we could understand it. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Left us Feeling a lot better about my cat's health.And even sent treats and toys home for our other cats. Thank you so very much for all you did.”

“I’d recommend Dr.Herz to anyone who is fine with “stiff” or “quirky” bedside manner as long as their animal is receiving the best care possible. Personally I wouldn’t care if this man would ask me to stand in horse poop while he tended to my dogs. He is able to diagnose with a passing glance. This man is a phenomenal vet and has every right to be arrogant and picky. He charges regular prices as vets should, not as they do. His wife keeps a great schedule. My animals have never been kept waiting. He is helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. In a crisis when you don’t know what to do he may not be the most compassionate however, he gives you all kids of information and resources. I’m forever grateful for my “soul sister” for leading me to him.

“We found Dr. Newman and Harlingen after suffering through three different bad experiences, judgmental attitudes and expensive misdiagnoses in the Bridgewater area. Our Miniature Schnauzer was finally diagnosed with a congenital shunt defect which required special care/diet/medicine following a consultation at the Cornell Veterinarian Medical School. Dr. Newman took care of our schnauzer and gave annual feedback to the specialist for the duration of her 13 years. Dr. Newman was there when we had to say goodbye. It has taken us several years to feel that we could bring another dog into our family but recently became the owners of a new miniature schnauzer puppy. We could not wait to introduce her to Dr. Newman and the staff at Harlingen. They have been nothing but kind and professional over the years, always helpful; provide basic as well as advanced information and resources if needed; they always provide honest feedback when questions are asked. We never felt rushed; we never felt imposed upon financially. They are even willing to give you financial estimates if needed ahead of time. We recommend Harlingen whenever asked for a vet reference. For those people giving feedback about the wait, it is very difficult to provide quality medical care on a clock. You cannot have compassionate care and be on time always. I know this because I also work in human healthcare and being on time is always a challenge. Each visit presents unique concerns and care. I will always choose compassionate quality care over on-time performance and I am willing to wait for it. My recommendation is to always allow enough time to wait if that is your primary concern.”

He calls at off hours, follows up and even answers questions I've had helping an island rescue. Another very important part is that the staff is friendly and they listen!!!”

“Another place where the crowd might come a little harsh with the reviews! Our precious cat Alfie was all out of food due to a delay on shopping with a leading online pet food merchant, which necessitated this trip to Petco. Unlike another chain that starts with "Pet," Petco had Alfie's food of choice in stock! We also are trying a couple cans of new food that may be a bit healthier for him. He's an indoor cat after all and not immune from the quarantine 15. It was easy to pick out everything online and pay. Nikki named me as someone authorized to pick up the goods, so I swung by this morning and was in and out in 2 minutes. Almost felt like an illicit transaction in a movie or something because it was so smooth and the product was nicely bagged. If the leading merchant doesn't get its act together, we will probably be back here to Petco!”
