The Burlington County Library, established in 1921, is the first county library in New Jersey and has grown to serve the largest county in the state. Its main location in Westampton is the largest library in the system, featuring a tech lab, a New Jersey history room, an extensive microfilm collection, a Storytelling Room, a Teen Zone, meeting and study rooms, and a 250-seat auditorium that hosts award-winning musical performances. The library offers something for everyone. It has dedicated spaces for various material resources, including media and gaming sections that appeal to children. The library has embraced graphic novels and maintains excellent sections for new releases and children's books. The environment is calming, and the library hosts engaging activities, making it an enjoyable experience for visitors of all ages. Recent renovations have enhanced its facilities, and new policies like auto-renewals and a fine-free system encourage borrowing. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff, who are always willing to assist. The library also organizes a variety of events, from book clubs to workshops. Families enjoy the wide selection of books, as well as activities like STEM options and Legos for younger children. Overall, the Burlington County Library is a cherished community resource that fosters a love for reading and learning in a welcoming atmosphere.
