Wish I could give negative stars. Booked two room in early January 2024, one for my wife and I and one for our daughter and her three children. One of my grandchildren has a medical condition that requires a daily injection and the medicine (at $12,000 per month) MUST be refrigerated at all times. When researching hotels we looked at The Westfield Inn but their room description stated that rooms "may" have a refrigerator. That wasn't good enough so I called the hotel and was told that yes, every room has a refrigerator. When I told my daughter she was quite relieved that that important issue has been addressed. So we arrive and check-in at the front desk. During that process I mentioned how relieved we all were when told that each room has a refrigerator. I was then advised by the clerk that each room has a WINE COOLER and NOT a refrigerator. And it's a wine cooler that cannot be adjusted colder. So I go back to the desk clerk seeking some suggestions for a resolution. There was nothing even approaching empathy for my situation, no offer to keep the meds in a real refrigerator on site, offer to rent a small refrigerator or any other workarounds. So we had no choice but to find our own workarounds and we did. But it required our driving our 7-year old grandson about 30 minutes away where a friend of a friend lived and allowed us access to their refrigerator. 30 minutes there, 30 minutes back, and loads of inconvenience for us and the friend of a friend. So we checked out three days later. I wrote a long email to the supposed on-site General Manager and got no response. I then called her and was advised she never saw the e-mail. When I explained the situation and my dissatisfaction with the whole affair, she offered to refund 20% off of my $1,300+ bill for the two rooms. I thanked her and considered the episode behind me. Except when the credit came through to my credit card it was for barely 10% of the total! I have subsequently emailed her and called a couple of dozen times and she's never in and never returned any of my phone calls. So they lied to us up front about the refrigerator in every room, putting my grandson's health at risk, did NOTHING to mitigate the impact of that lie and then lied to me again when I was promised a 20% refund. So here's the bottom line: if I desperately needed a hotel room and this really was the very last hotel on the planet I'd be happier sleeping in my car. Oh, and by the way, we went the corporate route and filed a complaint with Best Western weeks ago. All I got for that effort was crickets! Please keep this mind if you're considering a stay at The Westfield Inn or for that matter, any Best Western.

You really can't beat the price for the location- Westfield is such a lovely hidden gem of a town with so many local stores and fun spots to walk to and this is smack in the middle, with free parking around the back. The price is very reasonable for the accommodation and amenities. The rooms look like they were just renovated yesterday with new furnishings and finishings, but I agree the floors are creaky. Comfortable beds and plenty of pillows, with a cordless phone charger on the desk as a nice modern touch. However there were only plugs/usbs on one of the nightstands which seemed a bizarre oversight. The bath was fine, more wear showing and the water can take awhile to get hot. The hot breakfast is as basic as you can make- eggs with cheese, sausage, bacon, undercooked and unseasoned potatoes, bread, cereals, waffles, a small bowl of fruit toppings that go fast. There are plenty of condiments to help out the flavor and a microwave but the fruit cups were months out of date. So keep expectations very basic for breakfast. I would absolutely come for a stay again just for the convenience of Westfield. The service and reception people seem to see guests as things to work around and manage in between their jobs but it didn't impact beyond that.

Cute little hotel. Clean and spacious rooms with a very decent breakfast included. Loved the premium water station with sparkling and flat water (I’m picky about water and think even bottled water tastes funny sometimes). Loved that they had a cappuccino machine at breakfast. Easy check in a s great staff. Beds and pillows were clean and comfortable.

While the room is initially, beautiful to look at, it was nothing to be proud of, as a company. I pre- registered and indicated what time I would arrive. When I arrived, I was told I could not check in until hours later, even though I flew in from out of state. They were not willing to make any accommodations. The door of the room looked like someone ripped a 2 inch opening at the bottom. There was no chair in the room. There was no water in the room, except from the bathroom. The window was right outside of the garbage collection area, and a stone's throw from train tracks. I was denied when I asked for a room change. I felt like I was given the "bottom of the barrel" room, and did not feel comfortable in the space at all.Walkability: Many restaurants and conveniences in the area.

Room was clean and spacious, but a full 1/3 of the window was not covered by the blackout curtain and the bank next door runs extremely bright lights all night

We had a mother-daughter sleepover at the Westfield Inn this past weekend and were very happy with our accommodations. The room was immaculate and had plenty of pillows and plenty of towels (always a plus). Check-in was easy and quick and the front desk was extremely pleasant and helpful. The Inn is located conveniently in Westfield's adorable downtown and is walking distance to great shopping and multiple restaurants. We opted to order take-out from a few different places, eat dinner in our room and were very happy to do so!

Room was clean and spacious, but a full 1/3 of the window was not covered by the blackout curtain and the bank next door runs extremely bright lights all night. It was beyond disruptive, owners should absolutely rethink the curtains. All of the movement in the surrounding rooms can be heard, our king suite was on the 2nd floor and I heard folks walking above me all night (they, too, couldn't sleep).Walkability: The proximity to town was what drew us to stay here.

Overall, the area is really nice but the experience with the staff and room needed improvement. When we'd finally find a staff member, they could not care less about your experience and concerns. It's sad to have such a poor business model in a great and fun town.

Found living cockroaches in my room. When checking out, staff did not ask how my stay was and I had to bring this to their attention myself. The lady at the front desk asked for proof of the roaches (???) so I showed her a video and she said “I don’t know how that happened”. No apologies and no resolution provided. Frankly she didn’t seem to care at all. Hallway also had an odor. Would not return or recommend staying here.

The hallway and room smelled terrible. I let them know. When I checked out, I mentioned it to the front desk again, and she said, “I heard.” No apology. Nothing to make it right. Just gross.

Delightful, almost quirky little hotel with lots of heart. Full breakfast. Terrible coffee but the staff was so kind. Bring your own pillow. I’d stay here again!

The Westfield Inn was easy to find, ample parking and the rooms were beautifully decorated. If you need any assistance from the front desk it may be difficult, as every time we stopped by the front desk (or passed it while coming to and leaving the hotel) there was never anyone there after about 5 pm. The morning time there was a team member, but we never saw the evening reception again after we checked in.The rooms, although very nice decor-wise, had issues. The outlet in our bathroom didn't work at all, even after multiple reset attempts, which made hair drying a chore after trying to find another outlet. The outlets on the clock only worked if we held the drying plug firmly in the outlet hole. We found a lot of hairs on our bathroom floor and sink top, suggesting the room wasn't thoroughly cleaned between stays. We couldn't locate a person at the front desk for alert him of the issue with the bathroom outlet.Overall, our stay wasn't terrible but we wouldn't book here again. Very walkable area though, which was nice!Nearby activities: Shops, restaurants, boutiques and a few nearby memorial monuments.Walkability: Very walkable. Lots of shops and restaurants within a 15 minute walk. We felt very safe too.

Disappointing! Great location. Renovated room, but unfortunately my room had a broken mirror light, and a broken security chain on the door. The mirror (which is the source of the primary light in the bathroom) didn’t light at all, leaving only one small dimly lit recessed light on the ceiling. When I mentioned it to the front desk, I was told that they knew the lighted mirror was broken but were unable to repair it prior to my arrival that evening. I couldn’t even shower when I arrived because there wasn’t enough light in the bathroom to do so safely. Also, traveling alone l would have felt safer had the security chain on the door not been broken.
