Hours: Fairview Cemetery & Arboretum is a beautiful, peaceful, and well-maintained cemetery. The grounds are well taken care of, with neatly manicured lawns, smooth roadways, and no damaged headstones, creating a serene and tranquil environment for paying respects. It is a place of reverence for loved ones and is in excellent condition. Many visitors come specifically to see the grave of singer Whitney Houston. Her final resting place is located along the eastern edge of the cemetery. Some advise visitors to find it calmly without asking staff for directions. The cemetery also contains the burial spot of Doctor Virginia Apgar in Section E, towards the northwest corner. While the atmosphere is quiet and respectful, some note that staff may not provide directions to specific graves.
