Threw mail on porch that was just freshly stained, blue tape everywhere and bucket near steps, was told by National number they should have taken mail back and delivered another day, tried calling local office in Westfield 4 times and no one picks up.

The employees here seem to be very inconvenienced by their customers. William was very rude when I was setting up an appointment for my passport. He treated me like a peasant. I will be canceling my appointment and going to another post office.

Poor staff and un professional service! Very rude and change employees or train them to do there job. 4 employees are inside chit chat while we are waiting outside no one coming. I hope this review will be verified from post office headquarters.

Service was horrible. Very quite time when I entered and trying to get a receipt for two packages from counter. Two ladys working at ONE cashier told me they were not able to do it because there was ONE other customer waiting in the line. “We can’t let other customer wait for your receipt you can get from the machine” quote from one of the worker.
So I left when to garwood post office. It was Super busy. Two counters open and both lady was busy with customers. I was able to get receipt after 4 people ahead of me. No question asked.

My fiance and I went here today (Jan 2025) to get my passport renewed and get a new passport for her. The gentleman that helped us was extremely rude to us for not coming in with some paperwork that was required (no information about that on the USPS website). We were happy to fill out the paperwork there. It came across as a huge inconvenience to him. He was also rude to another customer waiting in line. Absolutely horrible service, please stay away.

Seems like the employees don’t like dealing with people. They behave as if the customer is an inconvenience.

Imaris is the best. The post office (location wise) is very good. Their mail delivery borders on horrific. Over the past year, mail gets delivered between 730pm and 9pm. Can go DAYS without mail delivery even though we have informed delivery and know items are supposed to arrive. Every now and then the mail is just thrown in a pile on my steps with my mail slot feet away. Can blow away...porch pirates...nah, just leave my bills and other personal correspondence out in the open.

This rating should be more of a negative 1 than a full star.
I went in there today with my mother to send out some documents and the supervisor by the last name of Williams was training a new hire. Gentleman has a tattoo on his neck and slick back gray hair. This supervisor asked my mother and I, “Are you doing passports documents? Because it looks like you are.”. I know there is a passport center in the police station which is not far but one shouldn’t make a quick assumption. Being that my mother and I are both Asian Americans and educated one should not quickly assume that we’re doing a passport renewal. I understand that we had walked in 10 minutes before closing time but he didn’t bother to assist us and did not provide a tracking number or a receipt for our mailing envelope to be sent out. My mother was telling him exactly what she needed done. He spoke over my mother and said to me “Can I deal with you instead?!”. Since this supervisor started raising his voice first over my mother. Then advised us to use their kiosk to create a tracking number for our envelope. There wasn’t a long line behind me so I don’t see the point of not being able to provide one for our envelope. I go to other branches and have a better experience.
USPS is a Federal Organization that should serve and assist customers not provide an attitude or make quick assumptions to the people that walk in the door. I’ve never experienced such mistreatment and at the same time such as prejudice to the point of racism.
