Even though I didn't have a serial number, he still was willing to help and amenable to compromising in order to help me recover it. He also had a very astute eye and showed me that the bike was, indeed, not mine. It is obviously a stressful situation. And I really appreciated the help. “I stopped in this shop about 2 years ago to sell some gift cards. I had my newborn baby with me and a 2 year old at home with a progressive and technically terminal genetic disease. They bought some of my gift cards but couldn't buy all. I was trying to sell our holiday gift cards because we were trying to make up some of the thousands of dollars in copays insurance expected us to come up with for my son's cystic fibrosis and liver disease meds. I was thankful for what they bought, at a fair price and when I went to leave my car battery was dead. I asked to wait inside while I tried to figure things out and the gentleman working (possible owner?) Allowed me to. While waiting for my jump the man working heard me on the phone dealing with all of my son's insurance BS asking why were they suddenly demanding we pay more, it was a nightmare, I was near tears several times and trying to nurse my newborn.When AAA finally arrived the worker came over and If I remember correctly he gave me full value for the one gift card he originally said he could not buy (due to stolen giftcard issues with that kind) and he gave me an additional I believe it was visa giftcard for hundreds of dollars just to be helpful. Unless ownership has changed the people working here are so kind and an absolute blessing. They helped out my family more than I can put into words and did it out of their own pocket, from the goodness of their heart. I highly recommend supporting this business, they care about their community.Edit to add since I can't reply. We sold our home that summer and moved to Pennsylvania where they have a loop hole in medicaid that guarantees coverage for any child with a progressive or terminal illness so life has been a lot less stressful since then but you helped us a lot while we waited for medical grants to cover what we could not afford. I miss NJ everyday but it is what it is. Thank you again for your kindness and I hope karma has rewarded you.”

“Bought an engagement ring to propose and took forever for me to get her size without her knowing it. I finally was able to get it and was looking at rings and found the one. Price was good and the clerk there was nice. I paid for it and put in for sizing to 7 and a half. The ring was a 8 and a half, (which would mean removal of some material, gold, reconnect and polish). They told me a day to pick it up and I figured out my plans to pop the question. I go pickup my purchase and hide it till the weekend and I pop the question, go to put the ring on and too big. So I think, I messed up on sizing her finger. Take it to a local jeweler and they size her finger , 7 to 7 and a half. Now they size the ring, and it is a 10 and a half… WTH… How do they do that?? Update: Just got off of the phone with them and they sent me a credit for resizing cost and made it right. Which they did not have to do..”
