He is a joy to speak with, and is a straight shooter. Next time we're in town, we will make it a point to visit again. “I love playing at this store, the owners are friendly and the crowd is always lively here, it doesn’t stink and there’s a lot of space and options for TCG bling. They offer store credit for prizes that can be used for packs or other TCG bling like dice playmats and deckboxes, and u get participation points/ store credit for entering in commander nights. That’s the best part. I’ve never done trade ins so I can’t rate that aspect but they have a bunch of bulk singles for sale. Ur store credit doesn’t expire either btw”

“I would have given this less but it really does have a lot of things needed for Hobbyist. Also a great place to bring your young Daughter who likes doing arts and crafts. I just have an issue with the unorganization and lay out of the store. There is no rhyme or reason to there set up and no signs to direct you to certain needs. I would no doubt have more disolays and more sections labeled to specifics. But I will go back.”

“****UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO OWNER***When I entered store a staff member approached me and asked if I needed help. I asked if you sold comics. He took me to the back and said “the comics are here” I asked where the new releases were as it was a Wednesday and I know new releases were delivered that day. He pointed to the other side of the room and said “new comics are probably over there.” Upon investigation I saw only older seemingly archived books boarded and wrapped. No shelf with this week’s releases. I figured this was all that was available and left.If indeed you do sell new releases weekly as the store has in past I’d be happy to return and shop.*****Great selection. Well stocked and friendly. Unfortunately they dont sell current comics,as their emphasis is not comics but collectibles. I only say this because the former owner (I hadn’t visited in years) sold current and weekly released comic selections.”
“Hollywood Heros has two things going for it. 1) An amazing, incredible selection of toys, new and vintage. 2) The nicest owners possible. My 12 y.o. son is a huge Star Wars collector, and he discovered HH on Yelp about. year ago. We've gone maybe a dozen times now even though it's an hour round trip. We often find rare and impossible to get items here and if it's not on the shelves, it's probably in their basement, so just ask. We became friendly with Jordan and Val on our trips there, and Jordan has been especially gracious. He always has time to talk, answer questions, and be friendly. Even when we come to just window shop, we still have great talks. Recently my son was looking for an ARC-170 gunship, and Jordan and Val had just gotten one in that had missing parts, and they gave it to my son as a thank you for being a loyal customer. It made my son's month. The store is a block from the central shopping district, so when we go we get bagels or Korean chicken and make a day out of it, or go the few blocks to Trader Joes. I know a Trader Joes isn't a selling point for a store specifically, but as a parent of someone who loves shopping here it's nice to have a cute town that can be part of the experience.”
