Very pleased with my 2nd experience purchasing from Scott at Oberg & Lindquist. I have previously purchased appliances for my past 2 residences from Home Depot. About a year ago, I needed to replace an LG microwave w/vent system. Scott matched my best price, his service installers were exceptional, and they accommodated me when I found a defect in the appliance by promptly replacing it w/a new unit. I just purchased a KitchenAid dishwasher from Scott and it was delivered sooner than expected. Again, the service installers were prompt, efficient, and professional, unlike my experience w/the big box stores. Their plumber arrived shortly after my appliance was delivered and installed, and I was honestly impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. Overall, I cannot be more satisfied with the entire experience. Scott recommended this KitchenAid model, and although I was "just looking" on the day I walked into his store, he did not pressure me in the least to complete my purchase. He was straightforward and I believe he gave me an excellent recommendation. I am thoroughly satisfied with my new dishwasher and will continue to purchase appliances from this company and, specifically, from Scott.

I recently saw a review answered by you. However Karen, the issue was never my expectation of you paying for my electrician and you know that. It was the lack of information you shared a week before Christmas when you made the sale and larger still how unpleasant both sales people were during the delivery in my phone call. Your response to Yelp reinforces how you will try to turn the story and proves to me how dishonest you are. I am compelled to share my poor experience to save others from a shopping experience with people only concerned with a sale. I truly hope whoever owns the establishment, will see this and run a customer service program. As for me, I will buy the refrigerator we also need, elsewhere happily.

This is our second time using O&L. The first time, a couple of years ago, our dryer froze up. I thought/told them we needed an electric dryer, but when they delivered, I realized we needed a gas dryer (duh). I called them immediately and without any scolding or friction whatsoever, they took the electric dryer back and swapped it out for a gas dryer, which they delivered and installed THE SAME DAY, no questions asked! Flash forward and our 8 year old dishwasher failed, just days before Thanksgiving, which we're hosting 13 people. We went to their showroom in a panic and the salesman (Jerry?) worked with us to find a very reasonably priced replacement that they were able to deliver and install THE NEXT DAY! Once again, O&L bailed us out and we LOVE our new dishwasher. I'll sing their praises to whoever will listen and highly recommend them for fair pricing, good selection and seriously efficient service. We plan to use them again for our downdraft and cooktop as well.

After 10 years our 36" over the range microwave died. Upon searching on the web, we quickly realized no one makes 36" over the range microwaves anymore. We decided to take a trip to Oberg & Lindquist with our problem. We were introduced to Bill Volz. He presented us with many alternative options. After a few minutes we realized we came to the right place. Bill was a pleasure to work with. Not only did he immediately solve our issue, his prices were far better than any of the competition. We were so satisfied we ended up buying a new cooktop and oven (which were also on their way out). Overall, Oberg and Lindquist is the place to go. Their products, services and prices will exceed your expectation. Another big shout out and thank you to Bill!

Here is my experience. Bought $30,000 worth of appliances. Wonderful sales people....they sold me. Wonderful delivery....they delivered. Extra fee to position appliances, No help with installation, no follow up on products purchased, no follow up if products working properly..( they aren't). No education on service providers, warranty info. or trouble shooting. They only sell and deliver if that is what you want.

This review is for 3 GE Café appliances. The process started off great with Oberg. I ordered a suite of appliances and they were able to hold them for several months while my kitchen was being renovated.The problem began once the appliances were delivered. Two out of the three appliances were damaged. Damage was discovered within a few hours of delivery. The front and inside panel of the dishwasher was dented, along with dirt and cobwebs on the bottom of the machine. And even though screws fell from the range during delivery (and the delivery men told me that was normal) we did not realize the leg was broken and leg panel was dented until we tried to level the range.I thought Oberg would just replace the damaged appliances, but that is not the normal protocol. The normal procedure is to have GE Service repair any damage. Oberg did respond quickly by calling GE to set up a service call and also order parts.Oberg continued to be the liaison between me and GE during this entire 3 month process. Once the delays continued with GE, Oberg offered me an exchange for both the dishwasher and range. The dishwasher was replaced within 2 months, but Oberg/GE kept delaying the delivery date for the range. Once I understood there was no expected delivery date for the range, I asked and received a refund from Oberg and off to PC Richards I went, where I had a new range delivered in less than a week. As much as I wanted to avoid the big box stores, I had no other choice.I cannot blame Oberg for all of these issues but they do bear some of the responsibility. GE/Haier also bears responsibility for manufacturing a poorly made product, implementing a horrible GE service program and for giving the local merchant the runaround. GE/Haier needs to ensure the local merchant has the inventory levels they need to satisfy their customers. But my business (invoice) was with Oberg and I wish they were able to do more and do it quicker. Unfortunately it is the end customer who suffers.My hope is that Oberg can build a stronger relationship with their GE/Haier representative to improve inventory supplies to make this a smoother, less stressful process in the future.

I needed a new dishwasher and the first place I went to was Oberg & Lindquist in Westwood. I had purchased my previous dishwasher and oven from them back in 2009. Gerry was extremely helpful and easy to work with. I ordered the appliance on a Thursday afternoon and it was delivered and installed the following Thursday! I had a very positive experience. I highly recommend Oberg for your appliance needs.

This has been a frustrating experience from start to finish. We ordered appliances a year in advance of our project and had to take a downgraded fridge and pay for an upgraded dishwasher because we weren’t going to have what we ordered for many many months. Not even the biggest issue. We specifically said we wanted another quiet ice machine, as we owned a Uline and we’re told Scotsman makes the quietest ice machine around. Better than Uline- we unfortunately listened to Bill as he was very convincing. The ice machine ran LOUDLY continuously and when ice fell into the bin it crashed like heavy rocks. The noise from this machine was like nothing I have ever heard before. Someone came to service it and we were told it’s functioning perfectly fine- this is where the experience goes somewhat downhill, because we were blatantly LIED to, this store is doing nothing. Karen just sends an email saying no returns and nothing they can do. Avoid this place at all cost. You will likely have very long lead times and in comparison to other places, the prices are high. I will post videos and audios of the ice machine on other platforms if it helps even one person avoid this terribly experience.

Avoid at all cost. You will pay more, have long lead times, be lied to and the list goes on. We purchased an entire kitchen worth of appliances a year in advance and it was one thing after another- we had to pay more for an upgraded dishwasher, received last years model fridge because of delays and worst of all received the loudest ice machine I've ever heard after being told it's the "quietest" one they make. They will ignore emails or basically say "sorry, not sorry" and will not accept a return on a machine that you can hear throughout the entire house all day/night. We had to shell out an additional $3,000 for the Uline and take a loss. Go anywhere else!

excellent customer service & very responsive - both Noelle and Karen have been amazing to work with on appliances for our new home!
