I was looking for a local mover in the Morris County NJ area. I called around, Dan The Affordable Moving Man and his crew help me move with no stress. He was a total professional and knew every detail of the moving process.

Dan was extremely rude. I just called for a quotation on my moving and he not even let me talk. I never talk to a person like this in my life . He was very unprofessional, very rude. He is totally crazy. I don’t know how he have a BUSSINES’!! Please stay away he could be cheaper, but you could pay more in the end..he just want cash.

Call Dan when you are ready to move. He doesn't mess around and can seem a little gruff at first but he and his team are great! Reliable, quick, and efficient. They moved my entire home with no issues in record time !

Dan's crew arrived exactly on time and got right to work. These gentlemen are absolutely professional in their knowledge and demeanor, and were extremely helpful. Furniture was delivered to two locations - our storage facility and our home. The crew took great care of our furniture and boxes, and were neat and tidy. Thank you for your professionalism and for meeting your target estimate. We would recommend "Dan the Affordable Moving Man" anytime to anyone.

Didn’t even get to moving part because the man on the phone was so unprofessional, rude, and wouldn’t let me get a word in. I was ready to book if he would just let me talk. I eventually hung up because he was so rude and speaking down to me. I have never written a review in my life but with how awful just the phone interaction was, I wouldn’t let them get near my belongings. Find someone else.

Don't use these people. Doesnt disclose everything to you, because if you ask questions you will get yelled at and cursed out. Spend a little more money and hire someone else. Saving money isn't worth dealing with dishonest people who give you anxiety.

Terrible exp. My sister booked Dan for 9/2 and paid him $400 in cash. 10 days prior she was taken into Morristown Hospital and was inpatient for ,2 weeks. I ( her twin sister) called Dan 5 xs and no response. All I wanted to do was move her date out or use our $400 credit to simply unload a 10x10 storage unit. On my 6th call I get a nasty text message from Dan stating my sister cancelled last minute and basically 'Too bad-Sucks to be You attitude) He sent me harassing texts and claimed he didn't have to call me back since " I wasn't the client" I could understand that position if it wasn't my address that he was moving her from or even the fact that I actually gave my sister the money for the deposit. Dan was rude, unprofessional and down right nasty. Doing the right thing would've made him a hero. Instead, he will now be exposed for the self serving, unprofessional that he is. I would not trust him. It's obvious that his mood can turn in a second and he's all about helping himself. Shame because an affluent family in Mendham recommended him and now they'll never ever say his name again. Mean. My sister was in ICU for God's sake and he couldn't even call or text me back? He tried to say I never called him. I'm holding my metro statement as we speak. He's a liar!

I worked directly with Dan (the owner) and he truly went out of his way to be accommodating to give me not only the date I needed to move but also to help me navigate getting my belongings out of an unscrupulous storage unit. He sent three movers to me and they arrived right in time. They were professional, efficient and just all around nice guys! It made a stressful time in my life so much easier. Highly recommended and fair prices! Thank you so much!

The movers showed up to my house and one of them brought his pet cockroach with him. I thought, okay this is weird, but I tried to ignore it. My sister later offered them some water in case they needed a break and the other mover body slammed her into the ground. They called me a slur and told me to go back to my country and then took my dog as payment.

Great experience from start to finish. Dan was reliable, on time and extremely efficient. The other employees who helped me move, Mike and Mike were very helpful, considerate and professional. I would absolutely recommend them and use them again.

Price gouging!! Dan had moved me in at the House of the Good Shepherd in Hackettstown. The move with 2 men wearing masks went fine. I called him to help move me just across the complex. He attempted to price gouge me. In November 2 men had spent 3 1/2 hours moving us in. $400 as quoted. This time he starts ranting that he need 3 men at $125 an hour for a minimum of 5 hours for a minimum of $ 625. I reminded him that there was 1 couch and 1 chair less. and that 2 men did it in less time. He became irate. He started yelling that he was not having his men wear masks and not able to breathe and stormed out, continuing to yell at me as he went down the hallway. Never have I had such bad behavior directed at me. I may be in a wheelchair, but I'm not stupid to be taken in by a thief. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T USE HIM.

Zero Stars for his verbal abuse. Words that came from his mouth left me shaking. I cannot write here what he said. All this because I asked if does last minute moves. He was beyond the most offensive vile "professIonal" i have ever dealt with. He followed it up with a text.
