Had carpeting installed 4 + years ago and there were seam lines showing in obvious parts of a master bedroom. Was told to turn heat up 80+ degrees and it would go away It didn't. Then they came multiple times and trimmed and combed edges. Helped a bit but still was obvious. Tenant moved in so I dropped the issue. 2.5 years ago had linoleum installed in a kitchen.The shoe molding they installed were scraps that were pieces together and badly called Within a year bubbles formed in 2 spots. I just pulled up the baseboard moldings because I am putting down a new floor. The linoleum is coming up without any effort- it's not even glued down. I tried to use a local business but won't use these guys again.

I had new wood floors installed in multiple rooms including my stairs. Als team is comprised of professional artists that take pride their craft. Their expertise is evident in how efficiently they got the projects done in a timely manner. Not only did they show up when scheduled, they were early and took minimal breaks. The finish product was stellar! stellar!Al orchestrated everything by frequently checking in and communicating clearly what the next steps were. I was highly satisfied and proud to shop local.

I had j&l replace all the carpet in my dad's house in Renaissance. They did a great job, and helped make the house look like new. And they have low prices. I strongly recommend.

BUYERS BEWARE! I experienced problems with the carpet/linoleum install which took from the end of September '22 - mid November '22 to correct. J & L had to totally redo the linoleum in my kitchen/dining room. The owner & installer had tried to pawn off a bad pattern match on me on the initial install. He (the owner) agreed to redo the linoleum AFTER I PHONED HIM BACK THE SECOND TIME TO COMPLAIN. He had the nerve to suggest he was doing me a favor by fixing the bad install. The same installer returned the second time (and had a bad attitude) and left without sealing the seam PLUS I had to argue with him so he'd caulk the edges where the linoleum meets the baseboard. I stopped by J & L, spoke with the owner and told him that the ends of the linoleum were curling up. I also advised him NOT TO SEND THE SAME (DISRESPECTFUL) installer to my house. Another man was sent to finish the install who was a REAL PROFESSIONAL. I WILL NEVER SUGGEST THAT ANYONE EMPLOY J & L CARPET TO DO ANY FLOORING FOR THEM.

I had floors installed by Empire and within a year, the vinyl planks were peeling and shifting. Long story short, their customer service would not help me. To fix my floors, someone had recommended J&L Carpet. The 2 gentleman that came out were professional, priced the repair fairly and when they were done with the job, my floor looked better than when it was originally installed. I HIGHLY recommend J&L Carpet if you want the job done right the first time. I felt that they truly cared about my overall experience and went above and beyond. I cannot thank them enough!!

What can you say about a company that achieves absolute perfection? We just moved into a nice house in Whiting, NJ. However, some aspects of the house left mush to be desired. The front room had the worst carpeting I have ever seen, and the kitchen's linoleum was very poorly installed. There were gaps from the edge of the linoleum to the walls and cabinets. I went to talk about remedying this with the people over at J&L, and they showed me some really nice affordable flooring. So we picked out flooring, and shortly after, they were in my home installing our choices. To say that the installation was done to perfection is an understatement. The new flooring changed the entire disposition of the house. I could not be more satisfied. They are highly recommended.
