I always bank here for a reason. It's always as convenient as can be and everyone there is great. Everyone there is always super helpful whenever I'm there or have a question about anything at all. Bonnie and Rita are absolutely great, they helped me so much when I recently had trouble with my online banking and when I went into the bank they took care of everything right away. I can't imagine banking being any easier. Thank you guys so much.

Ocean First Bank, Whiting Branck has the most welcoming and knowledgeable staff. Been banking with them for years and will continue to do so!

The one teller Sandy (tall blonde, older woman) is very rude. Told us false information about our checking account an took our balance down to al.ost nothing an bouncing checks. She's not professional at all. They made a horrible mistake with my checking account an cuz a major problem. If you hate your job then leave, no one appreciates your attitudes especially when it comes to banking an trusting you with our money. You make it very difficult for people to bank with Ocean first. Act professional or find another job but stop making our banking experience a nightmare. Next time this happens an she is rude to me or my husband, I'm complaining to someone hire up an hopefully they will handle this appropriately.

WARNING to all Ocean First customers, I recently went to my Whiting NJ location to make a large deposit into my savings account, when the teller looked at my account she said it was turned "Inactive"!! I asked why, I was told after 6 months Ocean First will put a savings account into "Inactive" status and they WILL NOT notify you as the customer that they made these changes and dont check to see why, however they DO notify you when they turn it back to "active" (shady behavior) I questioned them, a saving account SHOULD'NT be used frequently, thats the point of a savings account. I was then told that is was stated in the "disclosures" when you open an account, it is NOT written ANYWHERE in ANY disclosures while opening an account nor is it in your website portals or apps. I realized this was beyond a branch level and called to speak with corporate, as usual that took several days and numerous attempts to get a call back. Everyone I spoke to at the corporate level agreed that this does not make any sense but no one escalated it to the proper decison making or legal entities and it just continues. This is very unprofessional behavior and no one is fixing it. BE WARNED, If you have a Savings Account make sure they dont turn it "inactive" and not tell you!! Also, DO not ask Sandi the branch VP for help, she has zero empathy for your problems, she is not concerned or has the ability to help and she talk to you in such an unprofessional rude manner. The entire rest of the branch is very courtious , pleasant and also willing to help.

Nothing but problems. I go to one branch to cash my check and no charge. I go this branch and they charge me. Its too much of a hassle.

I presented (2)Ocean First checks in the drive-up, 1 for $1500, and 1 for $500, I was asked for 2 forms of ID, I gave it, DL, and Insurance Card,,I was informed they had to Call the Maker of the Checks,, the maker did not answer,, I was then given back the 2 checks and was Rudely Told ,The Maker Could Not Be Reached "We Don't Cash Checks That Large " ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME, is this even a bank ? the money was in the account

When I heard over the radio of a special offer from Ocean First it made me take notice of a bank I passed often but really had not paid any real attention. Inquiring about the details to verify the validity I signed up and began to spread the word at every opportunity about the really great offers from our local bank as I shopped and paid with my Ocean First debit card. Every visit to the Whiting Branch has been a true delight. The staff are welcoming friendly and efficient. Their smiles are encouraging and uplifting and when they greet you their voices make you feel truly welcome not like it's something they HAVE to say but you're truly regarded as a valued customer. With so many choices available in our area it is more than important to know that our hard-earned resources are being managed by people who treat their customers with respect and humanity while adhering to their responsibilities. When I say I love my bank you can believe those sentiments are real. Kudos to the Whiting team!!

We stopped at the bank today it was pouring rain and the one of the girls were helping a customer to there car and was holding a umbrella so the customer did not get so wet I thought that was a very nice thing to do
