Room was very small. Air conditioner kept going on and off all night and making very loud sounds constantly (we were up all night). There was no cable connection, only the smart TV but we couldn't watch anything because the WiFi signal was pretty much non-existant. WiFi down the shore is usually horrible but usually most hotels have a decent signal. The signal here was not strong enough to connect to the TV so we basically had to sit there and stare at the walls while we were in the room. There was also a big hole in the floor of the 2nd floor deck that was simply covered with astro-turf. The hole was easily big enough for a small child to fall through.

Let's start by saying.. never again..Rooms are dirty.... Small.. and lacking essentials like a bathroom sink.. wich was in the closet. With a medicine cabinet without a mirror for shaving. Pool was never cleaned.. tons of sand..as well as hair and other floating objects.. floor in room has never been washed.. feet were black after 2min. Ice machine doesn't work. Was told to go to "another" hotel they owned around corner for ice. No vending machines of any kind .. whole place was a nightmare.. except for desk staff "Chintu".. nice guy..oh.. I forgot .. the chairs around pool where all cracked and about to snap.. and umbrellas didn't work.. 6 out.. 1 worked halfaway.. lol

The truth is that I did not like the very small room and everything dirty, the fan with dust, the air conditioning dust on top of it, the bathroom dirty, too much dust, the dirty dishes stained. The only nice thing is the pool.

My bathroom flooded for the entire stay (2 nights), upon checked in, it was flooded. The hotel attendant said there were no more rooms to move us, yet the vacancy sign was on in bright red neon color. The last night of my stay was when they fix the toilet. The gave me a lousy 25% off my bill for my troubles (a whole 25%). My wife's birthday get-away to Wildwoods was ruined.

Pros : Close to beach and The Boardwalk. No Bugs , floors, toilet and shower were very clean. We've been to Wildwood Crest many times and were not expecting a Hilton. However, As I approached our room I looked down and saw an old toilet, piles of sheets waiting to be laundered, an old laundry basket with water in it ( breeding ground for mosquitoes) and a five gallon bucket labeled Corrosive. ( corrosive bucket was gone before we left)As I walked down the stairs we were greeted with an old planter partially filled with cigarette butts. That doesn't happen overnight. For the 4 days we were staying here we have stepped over an orange peel and dust bunnies on the stairs. I've walked to the ice machine three times , I saw two cubes in the bottom of it. Eventually, another person staying at the Aztec told me to go to the Motel next door for ice.The toilet is so close to the wall my knees are within an inch of the wall. (See picture) If you stay in Room 226 ( aka The Hideaway) I hope you are a short person. The bed was brutal. No towel rack, no soap dish in the shower, brown spots on the walls in the vicinity of the toilet and the Super Plunger. See photos...The gaps between the door and door buck allowed the cigarette smoke to waft into our room on the morning we were leaving from the two people sitting outside the room next to 226.My suggestion is to hire a Manager to perform Quality Control instead of smoking cigarettes and tossing butts on the sidewalk directly outside the door where you check in. Have some pride in your work. Who checks the rooms to make sure they are acceptable? Who checks the grounds around the property?Do not book on line, call and verify the Room you are booking. Room 226 is tiny, no counter space at all. I spent $1,087 for 3 nights booked on Hotels.com

There are several hundred other places you can choose to stay other than here. They don't have enough parking spots for one car per room. The man at night was so disrespectful. He told me to leave my car in the middle of the lot and leave my key in it in case some one has to move. When I asked what??? He said, oh maybe I'm not speaking slowly enough for you. Not what you want to come to after a long day driving here. And they're not close enough to the boardwalk to walk, so don't come here if you have a car....

Good location. Close to boardwalk and beach . But the beach is about 1/4 of mile to walk to get there . Clean rooms and for the price . Easy walking everywhere. Would stay again . Pool was clean .

Thought it was great and everything we expected, staff was super friendly and accommodating. Looked like there was a change in management but they were updating rooms and saw a lot of new furniture and improvements made but no issues at all during our 4 day

Loved it. The rooms were small. But it's really all we needed. Could use a little updating. But great price about a block from beach access an a couple blocks down from where the boardwalk starts. The staff were friendly and personable.
