“Bought a nice beach ball umbrella with the wooden pole. Trying it out today at Ocean City. Everyone else is taking down their flimsy umbrella and ours is barely moving. The owner gave us good advice on choosing an umbrella. Well worth the cost.”
“Like so many others, in Cape May, and when walking the beautiful Washington Mall, I always stop in this store. I usually get something for a friend or two .....but I always purchase several garden flags. I change my flags frequently and this store has the best variety and prices.

“I was so happy to visit this store yesterday. Every time my family and I visit Cape May, my husband knows I HAVE to go there ?. I love all their selections and the calm vibe that you feel as soon as you enter the store. “One of my favorite local businesses and is one I hope stays around for a very long time. The owner is so friendly I enjoy chit chatting with her when I’m there. Also decent pricing, I’ve come back over the years I’ve been here and always have a 5/5 experience. The decoration there is unique in the sense that you will not find the same kind of items just anywhere else. The variety of items offered are all adorable for any occasion and there’s a lot of great gift potential in there :-) as well as the jewelry, as can be seen with the bracelet and earring set. It’s much loved but after not being worn for several months it got the silvery tarnished look so I’ll have to clean that, but that’s not a problem, just an inconvenience if anything
More importantly, I’d like to address the salt shakers. They’re so cute, and match our set at home well, but unfortunately they are nonfunctional as the holes do not go all the way through, so you can’t actually shake anything out of them. We noticed this when washing them as water was not dripping out, but we still kept them because we hope to find a way to fully drill through. Despite this, family still loves going here and we do not think negatively of the business for it and will continue to support it for many years to come”

Villa Gourmet is a wonderful place to find the perfect collection of gifts for that special occasion that needs more than just a simple card or flowers. The owner, Tara, is so knowledgeable and helped me put together a wonderful anniversary gift for my son and daughter-in-love. I’m terrible at picking gifts!! Thanks to this new store, I didn’t have to do much!! I found some great items for my own home too! I would definitely recommend putting on the list of places to stop while in Wildwood! “Such a unique variety of items. If I won the lottery I would splurge here just because the prices can be a bit much for quite a few items, but for some they are well worth it. As others have mentioned, the owners can be a bit off at times. In the past they’ve given family a hard time because the owners weren’t making sense about a nonexistent issue with whatever takes the card, saying we needed to pay in cash because the lady was insistent the card wouldn’t work. Family tried the card with what we always do with the same kind of card readers at every boardwalk place, and it worked, so this unnecessary tension drops this place from a 5 to a 4. My advice to them: chill. Despite this, we’ve still come back from time to time and haven’t had any issues since. I think the jewelry and knickknacks are adorable and have gotta people gifts here over the years. I hope they get more items in the color of the seahorse”
“Wow!! Talk about a pickle paradise!! I’ve been searching for pickled vegetables (other than cucumbers) asparagus being one of my favorites! Cape May Pickle has 8 different varieties of asparagus alone! I love the passion behind their brand you can feel it as soon as you enter! I love that they support all small businesses and it gives you a chance to try more than just one brand, and things from other regions of the US that you might not have tried otherwise. They mentioned 40 plus small businesses! I also love the novelty items like the shirts, mugs, and quirky items! This store is a 10/10! ??????”
“I visited Stephanie’s mid November. We were having a girls shopping day. The minute I walked into the store I felt very welcomed. Stephanie was in there that day.
