“The staff in this location are excellent. So professional and courteous. This is a fairly large store with lots of inventory. Lots of beachy items...jewelry..home goods...and a nice children's section. Parking is really an issue even off season. But it's a lovely town and worth the trouble.”

“We had an AMAZING experience! The owners are very helpful, and very friendly. They explain each step and help you along the way. No experience is needed! I took my 6 year old today to learn how to throw clay and use a pottery wheel. She loved it! If you are on the fence, GO! You will not regret it! I can see this will now be one of our places to visit in Cape May each year. If you are from out of town, they will ship your pieces for you! And they have a cute little shop, so if you don’t want to create your own masterpiece, you can pick up someone else’s creation to decorate your home.”
“This is my place to go to if I am in the area. We stop here almost every visit when we go to Tlantic City. I huge selection of flags, wind whirly gigs and mailbox covers as well as many other things. Prices can't be beat. There website has additional selections.”

I go through at least 6 bottles a year!!Always friendly when shopping in person and fast when shipping!Today I was gifted a loaf of delicious walnut cranberry bread by the owner. “One of my favorite local businesses and is one I hope stays around for a very long time. The owner is so friendly I enjoy chit chatting with her when I’m there. Also decent pricing, I’ve come back over the years I’ve been here and always have a 5/5 experience. The decoration there is unique in the sense that you will not find the same kind of items just anywhere else. The variety of items offered are all adorable for any occasion and there’s a lot of great gift potential in there :-) as well as the jewelry, as can be seen with the bracelet and earring set. It’s much loved but after not being worn for several months it got the silvery tarnished look so I’ll have to clean that, but that’s not a problem, just an inconvenience if anything
More importantly, I’d like to address the salt shakers. They’re so cute, and match our set at home well, but unfortunately they are nonfunctional as the holes do not go all the way through, so you can’t actually shake anything out of them. We noticed this when washing them as water was not dripping out, but we still kept them because we hope to find a way to fully drill through. Despite this, family still loves going here and we do not think negatively of the business for it and will continue to support it for many years to come”

Villa Gourmet is a wonderful place to find the perfect collection of gifts for that special occasion that needs more than just a simple card or flowers. The owner, Tara, is so knowledgeable and helped me put together a wonderful anniversary gift for my son and daughter-in-love. I’m terrible at picking gifts!! Thanks to this new store, I didn’t have to do much!! I found some great items for my own home too! I would definitely recommend putting on the list of places to stop while in Wildwood! “Wow, such an amazing shop to stroll through when visiting Cape May, NJ. So many items to choose from, with their glass products being full of light and color and just breathtaking.
Spent quite a bit of time wandering around the store admiring the small trinkets, the beautiful kitchen hand towels, hanging pieces of blown glass and so much more.

“We LOVE this place! My sisters and I had an absolutely delightful time today at Stephanie’s! From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the stunning selection of bags. Each piece is unique and beautifully crafted, making it hard to choose just one. The real highlight, though, was meeting the owner, who warmly shared their family’s incredible story (from Cape May to Stone Harbor, Stephanie’s art decorating the walls) and the origins of the bags. It was such a joy to learn about the passion and history behind each item. We left not only with gorgeous bags but also with a heartwarming story to cherish. “The store is located by the Washington Street Market in Cape May, New Jersey. They have an additional location in Rio Grande, New Jersey. It is an historic building and was constructed from 1895-1897. Beautiful architectural details were preserved. The site was originally used as the New Jersey Trust and Safe Deposit Building. It subsequently became a bank and Cape May City Hall. The current store sells a wide variety of Christmas gifts and merchandise.”

“We stop here every single time we roll into Cape May – it’s basically a tradition at this point. My nephew is a straight-up bacon fanatic, so when we spotted the **bacon-scented air freshener**, it was game over. We immediately bought it and now his car officially smells like breakfast 24/7.
The kid’s in heaven. I’m pretty sure he’s been driving in circles just to keep the scent going.
10/10 would sniff again. Highly recommend for any bacon lovers (or anyone who enjoys smelling like a diner on wheels). 😂🥓”
