Bathroom was old and falling apart,used soap bottles left in the bathtub and floor around toilet was dirty, when I turned on the shower the tub immediately started peeling up and pieces were flying off I had to shut off the water. I couldn’t give my 1 year old a bath and had to go to my mothers room to use hers. I went to speak with someone and they said no other rooms were available for the whole weekend and that basically nothing was able to be done . I asked for some sort of credit being that we couldn’t even use my bathtub and they said they would tell the manager because they were not in. Never got anything and wasn’t even asked about it. Only good thing was the close walk to the beach. Pool was freezing and they say ocean view room but the only “view” is the parking lot

No sheets on the bed, was sleeping on raw mattress. Bathroom was nasty. Supplied with dusty fan, I was sneezing. Don’t stay here unless you have to ! Other than that, i guess it’s close to the beach and if you don’t care for the quality of the room or bathroom stay

Unfortunately we had a bad experience at the Saratoga Inn. We were told that our room had an ocean view. When we arrived, we were given a room with a window air conditioning unit just a few feet away from the tailpipes of the cars parked in the adjacent parking lot right outside the window. The ocean could barely be seen. Upon request, they kindly transferred us to a different room with a view of the pool, although this room didn't have a kitchenette like the previous room. The room was fairly spacious, was painted a nice blue color, and the AC worked well. However, the furniture was beat up and in need of refurbishment. One of the beds was dirty with stains and hair left by someone else. The other bed didn't even come with a fitted sheet--just a regular sheet draped over it so that the mattress was exposed if it was moved slightly. The bathroom had no ventilation. The refrigerator broke and we lost at least $40 worth of food we had just purchased. Management did not reimburse us. The replacement refrigerator was brought quickly but was rusted on the inside and, like the broken fridge, was beat up on the outside.Management was often hard to find during the middle of the day, which made tasks such as getting toilet paper or trash bags more tedious than it should have been (the toilet paper was rough and the trash bags were so thin that they tore apart like warm butter when handling them). Although the hotel officially prohibits smoking, smoking was common throughout the day and night, even in the presence of management. People used the pool, grilled out, and played music on the pool deck late at night well after the pool had closed and management had left. Quiet hours were not upheld as management left in the evening and didn't return until morning. Other guests socialized loudly right outside our door while their children ran and shouted on the shared balcony until 2:00 AM. Our room shared a door with a neighbor who played their TV loudly until the early morning hours. When we called the front office, no one picked up.We ended up having to cut our vacation short because of the negative conditions at the motel. Since the management office was closed, we left the keys in the room. When the person I was travelling with called the manager when they reopened, the manager tried to blame the situation on her and talked with her about how to "behave." The manager did apologize for the situation and promised to call back but never did. The last time I checked, the Bal Harbor--which sits between the ocean and the Saratoga and which actually has an ocean view--is actually cheaper than the Saratoga. From what I've heard from someone who stayed there, it's nicer too, though I can't vouch for it because I've never stayed there. In short, there's really no justification for choosing the Saratoga over almost anything else in the area.

Service was very good , parking is extremely tight .door dings are a definite. Efficiency rooms are in need of upgrading.apliances are old and rusty .plank floors are peeling bathrooms look like they were painted by a 3rd grader . Watch your charges ! This room was worth no more than $ 150 not the $ 300+ I was charged.Rooms: In dire need of upgrading and appliances.

Very Clean and close to the beach. Quiet area. Owner was on premises and was very friendly and welcoming. We are looking forward to booking again soon. Walking distance to bike rentals. Pool area was clean.

We stayed at The Saratoga Inn the last weekend of September and really enjoyed the visit. Iona the front desk person was very accomodating. Niru the owner was very friendly and Heather from the "Makin Waves" coffee shop was very pleasant and the breakfast was exceptional.The rooms were very clean and the pool area was spotless.We will absolutely see you again next season.

No sheets on the fold out bed. They had our check-in date wrong. Wifi slow. No real windows facing anything but other buildings. Old appliances. Old keurig. Old toaster. Old electric countertop stove. Strange noises in alley. Ashtrays falling. Bathroom ok like plumbing working but small. Tv worked. If just need sleeping it's great and at quieter end of things. Was kind of expensive for what it was. Pool of course not open because of time of year. It's not a great space but ok. No chain on the door. Pool looks quite nice though.At this point the motel will likely suffer surrounding pressure to be bought out1 area condos will want it to go because of "disruptions" to the high price condos2 the owner will realize it would make more sense to sell and make a mint off the land itself and turn it into a condo. It is within skipping distance to the beach

Traveled down with my 8 month old solo and they were accommodating to get us into a room right away prior to 3pm check in. Though it was updated in the past few years, still could use a bathroom update. I would also like to see a small AC unit in the back bedrooms as air circulation is tough, but the fan in the room was moved out by kitchen area to help. The hotel was very quiet which was a huge plus.

Wonderful!My family and I stayed here this past weekend, and the owner is very friendly! Maid service is great and the rooms are clean! They also have a very large pool that will fit everyone staying at the hotel. Would definitely stay here again. 10/10

This was the worst experience my family has had at any hotel or motel anywhere. The rooms were filthy and the services did not match the amenities posted when we booked. There was no housekeeping service, there was also no property maintenance, rooms were not ready until 5 pm. and they were very firm about checkout at 10a.m. (it was 11 when we booked) as large signs in the office stated. There was no open restaurant on premises. I have pictures of the dirt in the silverware draw, the black rims in the toilets, dead bugs in the refrigerator and bedroom. There was leftover food in the refrigerator when we checked in......it was fish. Although one gentleman working in the office came and wiped out the refrigerator non of the other items were taken care of. The owner said the housekeepers would take care of it the next day, but then everyone was told there would be no housekeeping. They clean when you leave, this also meant we had to go asking for toilet paper at the office whenever we needed it. Towels and trash were not collected, you were on your own as there was no instruction as what to do with the trash and same with towels. There was no dish detergent and when I asked they told me they were out of it........I went to Walgreen's and bought my own.They really need to power wash the walkways in front of the rooms and clean the plastic tables.

Management was very rude when we arrived. Said they called a bunch of times but never did. The lady at the front desk was very nice though. Honestly could've chose a different place to stay since he was rude to us but we didn't. The drain in our room took about 20 mins to go down and the fan didn't help at all. Never coming back here.

1/2 block from the beach. Room was newly done with new floors, paint and king size beds. The owners are super friendly. Planning on staying again next year.

this owner is as shady as it comes. we rented 3 rooms for a week. when we got there at 2 pm they said our room was not ready. that was ok because it says 3 pm checkin. we waited til 5 pm to get in our room. also check out on line is 11 am but he told us it was 10 am when we got there. When we got in our room all 3 rooms were suppose to be queen size beds and they were all full size. He fought with me because he said they were queens. they were not. I even measured them for him and still would not agree with me . The owner didn’t tell us til the next day that house keeping was not cleaning our rooms. but it said daily when we booked the room. we had to go down for clean towels, toilet paper etc. I told him on the website it said daily cleaning thst it is false advertising but he didn’t care. the pool was dirty the rooms were dirty. just a horrible experience I would never book at this place if I were you.

Absolutely the dirtiest place I have ever been in. I walked right out and demanded my money back. We will be reporting this place to the health dept. Its that bad. They left the same linens from the previous people. And did not clean the bathrooms.Please inspect the room before you pay.You will thank me!
