Wawa is an all-day, everyday convenience store in Wildwood, NJ, offering freshly brewed coffee, built-to-order food, hand-crafted specialty beverages, and competitively priced fuel. It is the ultimate pit stop, packed with beachgoers and buzzing with activity. The shelves are loaded with everything from mouth-watering sandwiches and Sizzli breakfast sandwiches to a rainbow of drinks and snacks. The store is kept clean and the employees are usually very nice, handling crowds like pros. The checkout is a breeze and the atmosphere has a fun, 60's vibe, making it a tradition for many visitors. However, it is incredibly expensive for a fast food joint, with outrageous prices, and the gas is always the highest priced in the area. While the food is okay for a convenience store, some remember when the hoagies were more edible. The location is very busy and could use more gas attendants.
Had a problem w/ a previous food order...Stopped in and spoke to Ambar , and without hesitation it was handled....I appreciate her efforts, and for taking responsibility of the screw up...Rarely happens today, as everything is always someone else's fault...Thanks, Ambar !!!

I would like to complement and thank the gas station attendants who buy dog treats with their own money to give to dogs in the cars at the gas pumps. Mikey and other attendants make a point to keep our 4 footed friends happy. My dog gets excited when I go over the bridge because he is looking forward to seeing his friends... read full comment
