When we first booked our hotel block, we booked with David, who at the time was the General Manager of the hotel and he was amazing. Fast forward about a year later, I needed to add rooms to our block so I go to call David to discover he no longer works there. I tried calling the front desk who told me that they’ll have the new GM call me back, I never got a call back so I called again the next day, again the GM is busy and can’t talk, this happened about 5 times until I eventually got through to the GM who gave me a hard time about adding rooms. Aside from that we got the rooms booked and everything was fine, until we went to check into our rooms, when we arrived at the hotel for check in, the two girls at the front desk (they were absolutely lovely no complaints about them) apologized because a majority of the rooms were not going to be ready for check in at our set time. The cleaning lady was in the lobby giving the girls at the front desk a hard time about cleaning the rooms and basically berating them infront of guests, complaining that there are three wedding blocks that weekend. They also agreed to give out our welcome bags and those two girls did give them out but during a shift change or whenever those girls were not present at check in the welcome bags were not given out. Overall, the hotel was fine, it was not great but it got the job done.

It's a nice little place, I didn't get to try the swimming pool or their breakfast. That's on me.

I stayed one night at the Holiday Inn Express in Williamstown, NJ, and had several issues. Upon check-in, they couldn’t provide room keys because their system wasn’t working, though the staff was accommodating that night. The next day after check out, I was unexpectedly charged $189.02. When I called the front desk, the staff was incredibly rude, didn’t listen to my concerns, and hung up on me. I called again today, 9/24 and spoke to the manager, persons name starts with , a K, who also hung up on me. I have now been charged twice for $189.02,a total of $378 despite the room being fully paid for prior to the stay, and my card was only on file for incidentals, of which there were none. This was a work trip, and we were in the hotel for less than 24 hours. Management refused to provide the owner’s or regional manager’s contact info, forcing me to call another hotel to figure out how to file a claim. This issue needs to be resolved immediately. Very poor customer service.

Do you like headlights in your room all night? Do you like to wake up to the sun in your face? This is you place! If not....avoid! We did not have a shades on our window, front desk came to confirm but did nothing...not even call us back. When I call 2 hrs later I was told the manager would call me, then the next morning when I complained was told the 'manager will call you'. When I checked out...'manager will call you'. 1 week later, no call, no follow-up, nothing...but they charged me full price! They just don't care about your comfort or quality of sleep. Find a different place. Not to mention the road noise.

a very nice young man booked us, checked us in, and answered any questions we had quickly and efficiently, and our stay wasn't just nice but the newest, nicest holiday inn we've ever stayed with. beautiful clean room, and a perfect temperature pool that my toddler really appreciated! next morning the complimentary breakfast had been decimated by a big group right before we got there, but the staff was already diligently working to refresh and restock. the warmed cinnamon rolls were amazing. happy baby and happy mama here!

I rented a double queen for an overnight while in the area. The room was clean and comfortable, the toiletries were full size which was great. I didn't use the TV and I was checked out before breakfast started so I can't comment on those. The bed was super comfortable. The only downside I saw was that the hallways were pretty hot and humid, but the room itself was perfect and had it's own heat/ac unit.
I'm originally from the area, however if you're not I just want to say that the hotel is right off of a main road but not a highway and it's close to shopping and restaurants and the Amish market. Close to 295, the AC expressway and 55

Beyond disgusted and over-priced. The only positive part of this experience was how nice the man was at the front desk.
The room smelled horribly of smoke and was dirty. The ceiling had a very poorly done repair and the bathroom had a gash out of the drywall.
We were in town for two nights to visit with my new grandchild and it ran us over $500 for the room.
The grounds of the hotel itself weren't so bad but there was a fair bit of trash left around the areas we were supposed to be walking our dogs at.
Breakfast items that were available were stale and very limited.
If you're looking for a nice place to stay that is moderately priced, keep looking!

I wish I could give this hotel 4.5 stars. Everything about it was good and clean. The only issue I saw was the grounds keeping was a bit messy. The grass wasn’t cut which made it hard for my service dog to use the bathroom. The outside appearance didn’t match the inside as the inside was much cleaner and well kept. The staff were friendly and courteous. The room was nice and quiet which I like I always worry about being able to hear other people around me but couldn’t. The air conditioner could have been a little stronger the room never got below 75 which we like our room at least 68. The pool area was great and refreshing. Overall we had a good experience!

My sister & her husband stayed overnight for a quick visit, & I drove over that evening for a visit. The room was sizeable & had a king bed; room was very clean. They were happy w/accommodations, but the price sticker shock for them. Welcome to NJ summer pricing due to popularity of the shore! Rather ridiculous.
Williamstown is NOT a resort area!
