I wouldn't willingly ever send a family member here again. I wouldn't send anyone I hate here. First of all, the room was dirty and gross. I complained about this multiple times. Stuff all over the floor, IV pole dirty, dirty gauze on floor. The same plastic covering to something was on the floor in the same spot his entire stay. My dad's room was spackled. IV tubing on the floor. Staff is rude. I went up to the nurses station multiple times, I would get looked at and not even acknowledged. Every nurse except Sam had an attitude and acted like they didn't want to be bothered. My dad was so unhappy and upset there. He also told me staff were VAPING in the room. Big yikes. Don't go into Healthcare if you are going to treat patients like garbage.

If you care about your loved ones, DO NOT send them here. This place is an utter disgrace to the American healthcare system. Getting a nurse or doctors attention is like an act of Congress. Avoid this place like the plague. I feel pain and sorrow for the patients who are here that don’t have family to speak for them. I echo prior reviews similar to mine, this place is pathetic, sad and abysmal. Avoid at all costs. End of story.

Subpar care. Had to ask everyday for a week for the attending doctor to contact my mothers doctor for a complicated case. It was jeopardizing my mother's recovery. No urgency or follow through.

Initially my care in the Willingboro ERwas simply horrible. Thankfully, Dr.Barnett was able to step in, see me andimmediately take charge and giveappropriate life saving care. ( He gets five stars, Triage RN gets minus stars) Very thankful Dr. Barnett's experience cut to the chase, and he sawhow dire my situation was and orderedappropriate medication for instant reliefof my pain and suffering which I had been leftto endure in the Willingboro ER for overhalf an hour as I was literally suffering anLAD Heart Attack. If it were not for him I literally could have been dead! It's a shame the otherstaff was all content to leave meunattended for half an hour screaming and thrashing in pain from a 99% clogged artery. They were much too busy saving other lives that were apparently more important than mine. The security guards actually laughed at me and made fun of me in the waiting area. The triage nurse was equally as bad, told me to get up off the floor after I had literally collapsed in pain! Then sent me to a room where I was left thrashing in pain unattended for half an hour. I realize all this sounds outrageous.. I reported it all and so far over a week later, the Hospital has not informed me of any investigation outcomes other than "we're investigating it"! Thankfully Dr. Barnett came in and got the ball rolling, the other staff stepped up and finally also gave the needed care and testing that he ordered. Nurse Justin RN was wonderful. The testing revealed the seriousness of mysituation. Ultimately, I was transferred to Our Lady of Lourdes Cath Lab in Camden. Their Cardiac Team was Amazing. As for Willingboro Hospital, only go there if it's via Ambulance. They only take you seriously if you come in by Ambulance. The treatment you get if you come any other way is horrible. The security guards are absolutely wicked and rude.

The people are warm and kind. They go out of their way to make patients feel safe, comfortable and taken care of. At times they even felt like an extension of family.

This place is absolutely horrendous. They did not care for my family member at all causing him to get readmitted into the hospital. It's incomprehensible a healthcare facility could do something so immoral and wrong. Don't let your loved ones go here.

Horrible place. Staff is patronizing and rude. Incompetence is obvious and dangerous. Not clean and very depressing atmosphere. Not a place to send anyone you care about. Very sorry that we did!

Our special needs daughter Aimee's 79 day journey is now over and she is resting comfortably at home and getting back into her routine which includes driving her parents crazy....LOL. This journey was an eye opener for my wife and I. We saw the kindness of this world via all of the extraordinary people that entered our lives and Aimee's, with Acuity's staff being a major part of this journey/kindness. My wife and I wanted to extend to you and all of the staff who helped us through those very difficult times our heartfelt thanks and gratitude. We would love to name all of the people that we met but we feel that would be unfair to all of the other people that we did not meet and who cared for our daughter, like all of those nurses and staff at night. All of your nurses and staff have a special gift and they give it away every time they come to work. That gift is the love of their job and how they give everything that they have for the patients in their care. That gift is seen and felt by all of the families that pass through those doors day in and day out even if they don't acknowledge it.I hope in the time that Aimee spent there that she touched their lives as much as you all have touched ours. We will always keep them in our prayers. We truly feel blessed. Please extend our appreciation, once again, to everyone. It will never be forgotten. Attached is a picture from the 4th of July that your staff had fun with and a picture when she came home. GREAT JOB ACUITY!

We had an excellent experience at Acuity. I rarely take the time to write reviews but after reading some negative reviews I felt it important to share our experience. The entire staff, the caregivers as well as administration were so skilled and the utmost professionals. I felt Dr. Patil was excellent and also one of the nicest doctors I have ever dealt with. Hope, who is in charge of case management worked tirelessly to fix some complicated issues we ran into, as did Eddie the chief nursing officer. And my mothers nurses Tanisha and Daisy were just wonderful and compassionate and caring and excellent at their jobs.I highly recommend Acuity.

Acuity is a very good hospital! I’d recommend this hospital for your loved one. The nurses are very attentive and seem to give great care to their patients. They have a good rapport with patients’ families, and are always available to give a report when you call for an update. Doctor Patil is phenomenal and very knowledgeable... He listens and gives pertinent feedback! Each week, the staff has a call with your family member(s). All hospital team leaders are on the line, and discusses the progress of your hospitalized loved one. Nutrition and respiratory should be commended...They provide a great plan to help facilitate optimum healing. Physical therapy is good and has improved over time. Pharmacy is even present, and goes over medication during the call; which is very helpful to understand what is being administered. Overall, the hospital is run very well and provides very good care!

As a former patient of Acuity Specialty Hospital, my care was excellent and the facilities were top notch… doctors, nurses, aides and support personnel were outstanding, cheerful and very helpful and got me on the road to recovery. I cannot say enough great things about my experience at Acuity Specialty Hospital. They made me feel like family during my 6 week stay and were very accommodating and friendly to my visitors. I would highly recommend this hospital.

I can not say enough about the care my husband has received here. He was transferred here after almost 4 weeks in the hospital. He was on a lot of oxygen had not really been eating and had not been out of bed. 2 weeks later (today) he is going home with no oxygen. First I have to thank Heather, she is awesome! Anything I needed she was there to help me. I want to thank Bob and Brian the therapists who got my husband out of bed and pushed him so he could come home to his family. I don’t know all his nurses and doctors names but they were also wonderful. Very caring and attentive. Allison his case manager who made all the arrangements for his discharge was also great Thank you Acuity for everything!

I would highly recommend Acuity Specialty Hospital to anyone with a loved one requiring a higher level of care. My mothers was a patient here twice. The nurses, patient care technicians respiratory therapists and rehab team were outstanding. 5 stars across the board to a stellar clinical team.
