Joel bender does not return phone calls!!! I am done with him! I've been calling him and leaving texts messages and nothing!! He hasn't returned my taxes and in trying to find out if he set up my Qtrly taxes cause I didn't see them taking out on my back statement and he could care less!! Really Joel!! I thought you were better than this!!! Merry again!!

Very unhappy with Joel Bender at the moment! He hasn't returned my calls, texts or emails! What's the deal Joel? At least have the common courtesy to return my calls!!!

Do not use does not respond. Unprofessional. Excuses, Excuses, Excuses. Have to track him down all the time. Never his fault. Much Drama. Does not answer phone calls. Beware. Horrible just horrible. What a joke.

Haven't seen or heard from this unprofessional company after over 10 calls for my 2020 return. I had to move on to a reputable CPA firm, not liars!!

never using him again. he cost me MORE money by filing my taxes late. Never answers his phone, emails, messages. I am EXTREMELY pissed off. I will never use him again.

DO NOT USE JOEL BENDER!! Nothing but problems. Always had are taxes done and never had a problem until last year. Never returns calls, emails or text messages. Office is no help. Why take a message if you know he will not call you back. He left on vacation on the last day when taxes needed to be filed and his office staff claimed an extension was filed and when I asked them for my papers they had no idea where they were. So we had to find someone else that was reliable to file our taxes last year. Still to date we never heard back from him. He definitely has issues and doesn't know who to communicate with his clients.

This guy was so rude when I asked for a quote. That was my first sign when I should have ran far away. I was referred by a friend so I went ahead and filed through him anyway. What a mistake! I paid a deposit two months ago and to this day he still has not filed my taxes. Don't send this scam artist your sensitive information. He never responds to emails, texts, or phone calls. The only reason I'm staying with him is due to the deposit that I already paid. I wish I had never met this guy. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away!

TERRIBLE. Untrustworthy, scam artist. Extremely nasty & rude. Never responds to emails, texts, or phone calls. I wouldn't recommend Joel Bender to an enemy. Hate that I sent all my confidential information to this guy and never even got a call back other than one nasty email. Another family member who lives closer to his office went in to get their taxes done. Two months later and Joel STILL has yet to file their taxes. And he's already been paid for his "services"!!!! Then he had the nerve to say "It's ok I'll file an extension"....There's plenty of other places to go to get your taxes done. This guy is a scum bag.

Kaplan and Bender are two nasty men to deal with. I had to debate whether i was hoh or single. Afterwards they realized they were wrong and corrected it.

I have completed my taxes with Jack Kaplan and Michael Bluth since 1984. They are reliable, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. Everything is done in a timely and organize manner. I have sent many people to their office over the years, and all have praised them and thanked me for the recommendation.

Joel does not return phone calls, at all! when he prepared my 2016 taxes, he told me he could get me back more money and when i sent him the information he needed, he never got back to me, never returned phone calls or emails. When i had a question about opening up a file he sent me of previous year taxes, left messages with his secretary and him, sent emails, no responce. When i was buying a house and there was a discrepancy on my income from a previous years taxes that i needed to clear up with my loan officer, he never retuned messages i left with his secretary or emails. HE IS NOT EVEN A CPA, HE IS NOT PROFESSIONAL
