Terrible! We ordered a custom dress back in December 2018. They don't care. Took FULL payment. We went back several times to retrieve it. Empty promises. Such thieves. Then said they would mail us the amount owed. (We live over 2 hours away). Such liars. We gave them 6 weeks to mail a check. You are probably wondering why we were so kind and patient to give them so much time. We had been customers of theirs for over 10 years. Very sad, hurt and disappointed.

This place is terrible. Not only do they deliver late, they send you the wrong sizes and orders. They just want to take your money.

Horrible experience, I finally won my dispute with them over the non delivery of my outfit for my wedding. They are the worst nightmare for a newly wed keep away from this place and it's awful owner and his. Terrible people running a terrible disservice to the community. My wife and I had to do a lot of back and forth with our credit card company and after many months we were able to convince them with ample evidence of pictures and text messages that this place is run by a liar and a thief. He will say anything to get the business and forces you to pay in full before the item is delivered. Beware of this place and I hope you read this review and Google review before you make a deposit.

I bought a gown from Om in December 2018 and just wore it for my engagement party. I love the dress and got so many compliments! We had great service from looking at the variety of dresses and it took about ~3 weeks to tailor my dress. I would recommend shopping here and will definitely come again.

Great Selection of Indian Attire This store was recommended to us by our sousing who used to live in the area. Needed dresses for the bride & her groom. Found an excellent selections & ended up buying also for father of the bride as well as groomsmen. You obviously should shop around for the exact dresses you want. But we found everything that we needed. And all with a very friendly service in the traditional Indian clothing store ambiance. Would definitely recommend at least a visit to see selection for yourself.

Just left Om the Origin with my sister and mom... we were shopping for bridal attire for my sister. The selection at Om is awesome, especially for more fusion type of clothing. The staff was incredible and worked with us to find the perfect dress! After trips to Hicksville and Jackson Heights, I'm thrilled to say she said yes to the dress!! Thank you!

You can find good clothing there after a proper thorough look through. Customer service is below average even after purchasing clothing, there is no sincerity and customer satisfaction is not a thing here. Zero stars for staff but two stars are for the dress because it was somewhat decent.

NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE! DO NOT SHOP HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!!!!!!! My fiancée and I came here to order matching Lengha/Sherwanis for our engagement party. We placed our order on August 8th, which left plenty of time before our party on October 7th. They told us that the pieces would be in on September 18th. On September 18th, we go and pick up her lengha, but the sherwani is not there, and they tell us it will be in on the 21st. We call to make sure it's there, and they tell us to come into the store. When we get there, the sherwani is not there, the lady at the store says that they did not call us (we called them), because they were waiting on the piece to come in. They say the piece will come in the following Tuesday. We call them non-stop on Tuesday all day to make sure, but no answer from them, finally after about 18 calls, they answer and say to come in the evening. When we get there, the owner (I believe), starts telling us a story about how Fedex left a door tag and they have to pick it up. He runs out the door behind the Fedex truck, but the truck leaves. We checked the Door Tag number and it's for some other shipment that has already been delivered. He tells us very endearingly to come back on Thursday, and that it will be at the store, guaranteed and I have his word, and even showed me a shipping paper from india stating that it shipped on 9/22 (it was supposed to arrive on 09/18) Wednesday morning he sends me a NEW TRACKING NUMBER from Fedex, and while it clearly says that it hasn't even shipped from Delhi yet, he claims it shipped on 09/22. So I tracked the package, and it finally says that it got delivered, so I head to the store and he tells me that it was a large package and they “thought†my sherwani would be in there, but it wasn't. Keep in mind the tracking number shows that the package was 3 pounds...yet he showed me a box that was clearly 30-40 pounds. He to this day claims that the piece will be in tomorrow. I don't understand why they just don't tell the truth, but DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN INDIAN OUTFIT FOR ANY OCCASION, Unless you want to run around aimlessly behind these guys and potentially ruin your event, I don't recommend this place at all.
