Got my hair done for the first time here with Alexandria and it was such an amazing experience. She went over all my options for the image I had for my hair and after talking through it decided with her help that a different color was the best way to go and I absolutely love it! I can't wait to return to her when I'm ready to change it up for my next hair adventure!

I came here for my makeup and hair as a bridesmaid, Lauren who did my makeup was amazing! She was extremely kind, walked through me the airbrush process and made me feel absolutely beautiful!! As a fellow artist I would highly recommend coming here and asking for Lauren for any special event makeup!

I’ve been seeing Meredith for years, she always does so well with my hair cut and color. I just saw her and she has outdone herself with my cut and full balayage! She’s personable and a really great stylist! You pay for what you get and they make sure their products and stylists give you what you pay for! Highly recommend Meredith!

It was so awesome and everyone was so friendly..the lady that fixed my hair for mygrandsons wedding was the most professional, friendly, she made my hair beautiful!!! And then off to lady with makeup..I'm 74 years old and have never had someone do my makeup and it was so exciting for me...again that lady made me feel beautiful...great team and hope everyone goes there..my daughter-in-law has gone there for some time..

Today was my first visit with Hello Gorgeous. From the time I entered the building I was greeted by the receptionist who was very warm and friendly. My honorary mention goes to my NEW hairstylist Christina! She is a 10 all the way! She’s professional and very friendly. Her customer service skills exceeded my expectations! I canceled twice within the 24 time limit. The nasty manager said I have to pay for the full amount minus $5.00 which comes to $78.00 because she says I didn’t cancel within 24 hours. That’s a lie. I did cancel correctly. She was very rude, kept interrupting me and because I have nerve pain that was the first cancellation. The second was a death in the family. I liked my hairdresser but both of them hung up on me without saying goodbye. They can go fly a kite I’m not paying them a cent. It’s not my fault I was sick and gee I didn’t know my family member was going to die. There website plainly states “24 hours” Maybe they can’t read their own website. It’s all about the money….isn’t always that the case? Never in my life dealt with a hairdresser place that is so rude and are liars.

I've been getting waxed at hello gorgeous for over 20 years. I'm pretty committed once I find an esthetician I feel comfortable with. Unfortunately, I can't see myself going back. My bikini/half leg wax went from $90 to $106!! C'mon! I know everything has gone up, but to raise prices by $16 in one shot for the same exact service is ridiculous! Ever heard of gradually increasing prices so as not to seem like the customer is completely being taken advantage of?! There was a $10 price increase like two years ago. So in two years I'm paying $26 more for the same service. Not happening.

I went to this salon awhile back . I asked to have hair highlights . I wanted white blonde hair . I had gone before and Stephanie did my hair . And did a nice job she even took pics for me to have for myself on my phone. When I and told me they keep a record of your color they used on file. I went back to have. A touch up . And the stylist. I told about Stephanie and showed her pics of my color . I told her notes tones . I like the ash look. When she was done . With my hair it was red undertones. I paid 300plus dollars. I was upset and told manager. She told me yo cone back in and she would fix my hair. I went back she did hair . It was better then the first time but still wasn't correct. She fixed it and I had grayish blonde hair. She told me basically thats all she could do for me. . So I left salon I paid and I never used foul language. Or anything. I called back to get another hair appint and was told I was never to return to any hello gorgeous salons because I was argumentative tot he staff. So let me get this straight . They mess up your hairband cause you demand to get it fixed your the problem.! Do they own hello gorgeous to say I can't return! Don't go to this salon . If they can't take criticism there IGNORANT people! And should not be running a salon.! I never once refused to pay or was disruptive . I been going to hello gorgeous and Deptford is the only hello gorgeous salon where they have showed predatory behavior !Service: Hairstyling

I’ve been going to Hello Gorgeous for at least five years and have (mostly) consistently used the same stylists for my services. This past year has been a tough one for me personally and I’ve had to cancel 3 or 4 appointments because of illness and work. I work in healthcare and am on-call so I don’t have a lot of control over my schedule and I also have a weak immune system so I get sick more than the average person. I canceled an appointment today because I am sick and they told me I can no longer book any services with them. When I explained that I couldn’t give them 24 hours notice because yesterday was Easter, the receptionist just laughed at me. It’s a shame because I had established rapport with a couple of the stylists and now I will have to find a new salon. This place is not flexible nor are they understanding or accommodating of illness. I would rather cancel last minute than get someone sick, especially in the middle of a pandemic. The way I was treated on the phone was also unacceptable and frankly very surprising as I have been loyal to this salon for years. Looking forward to finding a new salon now that I know this is how they treat their customers.Services: Pedicures

Horrible!!!!Unbeknownst to me, They had and kept my credit card number on file from a previous appointment back in February of 2022 and charged my card today 4/14/22 with out my consent.I had to cancel my appointment today because of dental implant surgery in the morning and was in a lot of pain.When I called to cancel the receptionist was very nice, I apologized for the late call, which was 1/2 hr prior to my appointment. I told her that I really thought I would be able to get there but I was not up to it. She said; it was ok, no worries, did I want to reschedule with her or call back. I said; I wanted to rescheduled with the same stylist for the following week. In ending the call… She said; I hope you feel better and have a happy Easter. NEVER did she mention or ask for a credit card number nor explain a charge policy.I actually called on 4/14 to schedule an appointment for 4/16 @ 10 am and the receptionist again did NOT mention or ask for a credit card number nor explain a charge policy.An hour later I received a very aggressive call from the assistant manager named Drew, she stated that she was charging me for the full service because I was a “NO SHOW”. She then stated she had my credit card number on file, read me the number and said she would be charging my card the full amount of $35. She said that I had 2 other “NO SHOWS” back in 2019 and today was the third. I started; do not charge my card…she stated; “it’s already done!”Of course I am now not really understanding what is going on so I said that I would be disputing the charge because I was not in receipt of goods or service …she stated; go ahead and you can call corporate! “This is how her staff makes a living!”I am a cancer survivor, diagnosed in 2017 and have had 12 surgeries with the last just in February of 2022. During December of 2019 I was recovering from 2 of those surgeries. The stylist who cuts my hair is aware of my cancer because we discussed it during previous appointments. I have always called and canceled any appointment if I was unable to get there. Never did I just not show up.This was the worst customer service experience I have ever received in a place of business.
