I'm shocked to see any negative reviews about this company. Over 20 years ago, I purchased and installed a shower door system that arrived in the exact measurements I gave them. Fit perfectly. I had a question during the install, so I called them up. They were available and helped without any hassle. Fast forward to a few months ago, I needed 3 new rollers on the door glides, so I called customer service, and their response was "Sure. No problem. We'll send it right out." They sent more than 3. No questions on receipt. No questions on date of purchase. Nothing. Just help. Zero hassle. Then again, last week, I called and needed another part, same response, same zero hassle. They are 100% problem free! I highly recommend their products.

We at Bath Fitter used many other door vendors over the years but these guys are the best! Good quality, responsive staff and they always under promise and over deliver. We've received dozens of doors from them over the past months and never has there been a problem. Our sales rep John Spazante is also a great guy to deal with. Kudos Century, it's no wonder you've been in business so long!

I am a bathroom remodeling guy and I ordered a glass door from Century( huge mistake) . The door came without any instructions ( I guess after you pay $1500 for a door you have to download your own installation instructions) . After the door was installed my client said that the door would not stay closed. I inspected the job and found out that this was the truth . I called the company that I purchased the door from asking for suggestions, and they told me that they will take care of it- that was almost 6 months ago ( still the problem is not resolved), we had representatives coming and trying to fix it and they only made it worse . It is very difficult to get a hold of anyone and get answers. Finally I can’t deal with this problem anymore and I asking for my money back. Will see if I can get my money back, but I would NOT recommend this company to anyone!

If zero stars was an option, I'd select it. I ordered a custom mirrored closet door from a local vendor in Ship Bottom, NJ who contracted the work out to Century Bathworks. My order was placed on June 30, 2018 to the tune of $700 ($125 of which was for installation). I was given an estimate of four weeks so today, five weeks later, I called for an update. My door has been made but Century Bathworks refuses to deliver it until they have another order in my area. My local vendor asked when that might be and was told it could be four weeks, six weeks, three months, however long it takes for them to have another delivery in my area. NEVER AGAIN.

FYI - Century makes medicine cabinets along with fabricating shower glass that either they or others will install. So even if you deal with another company for the shower install, they may be getting the glass from Century. Our first (and last) dealing with Century concerned a pair of medicine cabinets and as a result, we (fortunately) didn't use Century for the shower glass or install (we recommend Easco). We ordered the pair of cabinets with the expectation that they be touching each other. Some companies sell a 'connecting or ganging kit' to hold the 2 together. A month or 2 after I ordered the cabinets, my contractor called asking where the connecting kit was. I would think it'd be in the box? I called the supply house where we got it but our rep was out. Calling Century, a woman in customer DISservice says the connecting kit has to be ordered, is sold separately and would be supplied in a separate box from the cabinets. I couldn't remember if I ordered the kit! Trying to check at the supply house - 'did we order the connecting kit', but they were busy and my contractor was waiting on me. Looking on the Century website, on the install instructions, it lists the connector kit as a part in the box just like shelves, shelf clips, etc. Not as an add on purchase. And on a PDF about the different models of cabinets, it says 'connecting kit: included'. WTF!? I call Century again and get someone competent who can see our order and says the connecting kit WAS requested and is IN one of the cabinet boxes at no charge. Requested? Yes, we include it WHEN IT IS ASKED FOR. Again, WTF? So it's not 'connecting kit: included' but rather'connecting kit: available on request'. Did you forget to tell Century how you are installing the 2 cabinets and then have to wait for them to ship it? And what about the first person I spoke to that was adamant that the connecting kit is SOLD and ships in its own box? Once you install the 2 cabinets with the connecting kit, you lose 2 rows for shelves! There's only 8 rows of openings for the shelves to rest on. With the connecting kit, you have 6! Want more than a couple inches between shelves? AVOID Century! OH! FYI - they offer a 'slow close' optional (additional cost) feature on the cabinets. This is NOT a different hinge. It is an add on item you can buy for a fraction of the price they charge for them AND you'd have to install them even if bought from Century (they just clip on the existing hinges). Google "Blum 973A6000". You can order 1 for each hinge (rather than 1 per cabinet), and you are still paying LESS at retail prices than they charge you to throw them in the box after they bought them at WHOLESALE. Overall, they wasted too much of my and my contractor's time. We were planning on having Century do the shower glass and install the glass but we went elsewhere for both.

We could not be happier with the final result. Our house was built in 1926 and it has the style and charm but two of our bathrooms needed updating. Thank you for doing such a great job. I will highly recommend you to all my neighbors, colleagues and friends.

Measured on May 19, installed on July 9 - that's 7 weeks, 2 days of waiting. Yes I realize this is a first-world problem, waiting for a fancy piece of glass :) But when you spend up for the good stuff to complete a renovated bathroom it's difficult to be patient that darned long. Pricey and don't try walking in here, you have to order thru a retail shop like a plumbing or tile store. The installers get 5 stars for their extremely careful work and straight talk. I hear there's only one installer crew, Jim and Jim (seriously). But one Jim was on vacation, so tall Jim and Hernando came to my place. They drilled holes in glass tile without a single mishap, that's not just good fortune, that's skill, experience and proper tools. The Century Bathworks back office gets 1 star. Communication is a serious problem, still back in the last century faxing things around. They called *me* directly to set appointments, but didn't seem to like it if I called *them.* So every time I needed info, I first called my local store rep (if I could reach her), she called CB (if she could reach them), they called her back (at least a day later) .. you get the picture, it was a stupid game of phone tag that caused all kinds of delay. Email, anyone? The result is flat-out gorgeous, I'm very happy with the product. Just wish they had set expectations about the long lead time right up front.
