“I like the Dr. He is very knowledgeable and explains treatment thoroughly. The only problem is that he will only clip my dogs nails under sedation . Even though she was wearing a muzzle. But he explained it would be less traumatic on my dog who hates to go to the vet.”

“My daughter and I had to bring our beloved cat Tiger here to say goodbye. He was only six years old and was struck by a severe and sudden illness that saw him go from a vibrant healthy cat to barely able to sit all within about 36 hours. The staff and Dr were so caring and helped us through the process. They made the extremely difficult decision a bit easier. The process was dignified and peaceful. I will miss my buddy and be forever grateful to Del Val for their help. They truly are the best around.”

“It’s hard for me to write this now but I called tri-county this morning because my 5 year old lab couldn’t stand or wouldn’t eat this all happened overnight,so not being a client I was hoping for the best if they can guild me what/where/who to do next they squeeze Gracie in, I had an appointment with Dr.John well it wasn’t good I had to put her down but since walking into that door to walking out that door I know my Gracie was in good hands and was treated as if she was their own and I strongly believe from the minute in walked in the front desk to leaving the front desk all of the staff was amazing to Gracie but also to myself I felt like “we did everything with her best interest and I can not thank them enough I’m grieving but didn’t want to miss this opportunity to express my gratitude to an amazing staff in a bad situation I walked in as a new client but felt like I walked out as an old friend thank you”

“I own a hunting dog and this after a few weeks of research is where I decided to start. They came recommended by others that I know own hunting dogs. I liked that there where more than one get on staff unlike the last vet I had used. I can't attest to any emergencies or complications, thank goodness none have come up. But the staff are very friendly, the office and rooms are clean. Max did develop Tape worms this past year. A simple call and description and I was able to pick up a few pills. The rate charged is inline with other vets in the area.”

“I've been going to RVAH for over 10 years. They are competent and caring professionals. They've taken very good care of a cat and 2 dogs now. I read the full reviews of the 3 people who gave poor ratings. One said they hung up after waiting (a whole) 5 minutes on hold and were indignant about having to wait to be seen once they arrived when they were granted an emergency appointment for their pet that wasn't even a patient normally at the hospital. Apparently they were so rude and belligerent they were denied service. As a nurse I can empathize with staff having to deal with that gem of a family member of the patient. #2 was mad the doctor had to postpone a neuter because of the dog's dental issue needing to be fixed first. Number three was pissed they needed to make an appointment to have their dog receive medication. How many doctors you know treat patients without seeing them first? Vets don't have crystal balls. Vets are DOCTORS of animal medicine. Just like people, sometimes pet appointments don't go as planned because they find things unexpectedly that take priority or take longer than planned. It's a hospital, not a hair salon or a fast food drive thru. Do you want good thorough care or an assembly line? If it's good thorough care then take your furbaby here.”

“Wow! I have to call out one specific Veterinary Technician named Michelle O'Toole. I witnessed this amazing angel go over and above her job requirements. I would love to recommend her and this facility.”

“I couldn’t have been more happy about my visit to St. Francis for my dog’s annual exam. Meg, the veterinary assistant, was absolutely amazing. My dog is EXTREMELY nervous every time we go to the vet, but as soon as Meg took us back to the room, she made sure that he was comfortable and felt safe. My dog’s attitude completely changed and he was fine the entire appointment. My dog absolutely loved her. She was SO good with him. Dr. Jedlinski also did an amazing job. He too, made sure that my dog felt safe and calm while we were there. Dr. Jedlinski answered all of my questions and was very knowledgeable. I am so grateful for both of them and their help making this appointment a breeze. Thank you both so much!!”
