“As a medical transportation driver, I’m constantly going in and out of healthcare facilities across North Jersey. I see how front desks operate every single day, and I can honestly say that Amelia Maffei, Susan Bazoqa, and Jacalyn O’Brien are exceptional.
They are professional, organized, and incredibly welcoming. No matter how busy it gets, they stay calm, respectful, and attentive. They treat patients, families, and transportation staff with kindness and dignity. That kind of consistency is rare.
What stands out most is their attitude. They don’t just “do their job” — they create a warm and positive atmosphere from the moment you walk in. For patients who may already be stressed or not feeling well, that first interaction truly matters.
Christian Health is fortunate to have Amelia, Susan, and Jacalyn representing the front desk. They make a real difference every single day.
Thank you very much for everything you do to help lady's!”
“Wonder place to have your event . This is my family’s go to spot for events .The Bartenders Chris and Laura were amazing. Very attentive all night and great hospitality.”
“We couldn't be more grateful to peace4paws for first saving our puppy (and the rest of his litter) from being euthanized and for also allowing us to make him a part of our home. The care and attention they give to all the animals in their care is exceptional. Our hearts are filled with such love as our family is now complete.”
“It’s always such a good time at City Green. Whether I’m stopping by their annual farmers market- which has a ton of great vendors with food, decorations, and all kinds of cute stuff, or hanging out at their summer events with live music, drinks, and a chance to wander around the farm and see the animals, it’s just always fun. Overall, such an awesome spot, and I’m really glad Clifton has it!”

“Went on two Friday walks this year. Had Mary as a guide both times. Her knowledge of the birds, bird calls and plant life was extensive. It’s a beautiful natural area and the building has just been renovated. They were planning a special Saturday on monarch butterflies when I visited. Especially enjoyed seeing northern flickers, crows and chipping sparrows and learning more about the plants and trees.”
“Ever Everfund was a very trustworthy and helpful plan for my mom who needed financial assistance. They were consistent and very good at responding to all of my inquiries. I felt safe with them. I would definitely recommend them.”
“The salvation and the workers kept me from starving from non nutritious food at the place I’m staying….. social services doesn’t help people with disabilities and the need for proper housing! I’m looking forward to being a part of this wonderful team to help people who need it and not be abused. What an incredible contribution and community help where nobody else will ever help you”
“I lived at Packanack for 46 years with my children. It was always a friendly, inclusive place to live. It is welcoming to all new comers, no matter what their faith, creed or nationality, should be. Please keep it that way. Accept all, tall or short, gay or straight, Hispanic, Italian, Irish, Jewish, Asian or Muslim. We are all one in the sight of God. This beauty should be enjoyed by all. “The best Parkinson’s program ! I joined Simona’s group 3 months ago and has truly helped me both physically and mentally. The group members are all very nice and it’s a great atmosphere.Ridgewood did a great job putting this together”
“Had a very big inventory of clothing compared to some of the other Good Will Stores in Morris County. Had some good finds, like other locations you have to put some time in to find some cool stuff.”
“I can't remember the lady's name but she is so helpful and I thank God for her she really helped me out in my time of need and crisis bless her and the entire staff at salvation army in Paterson New Jersey”
“Our district's 18-21 Transition Program opened last year amidst COVID, so it was very difficult to develop opportunities in the community for my students. We were very excited to connect with Greens Do Good, and our year changed as student internships began. The experience at the farm is unique. Students are passionate, and very proud when working alongside GDG staff to contribute to the success of the farm.We are very grateful for our partnership with GDG. In addition to the internships, they employ students, and bring people together for projects that will improve the lives of individuals with special needs. They continue to be an amazing resource for our students and their families.Thank you for all that you do!Michael - Transition Coordinator at STEPSS Program”
“A nice space with lots of choices, good prices, clean and well-laid out. The employees were all extremely nice. A special shout-out to Louisa. The computers crashed and took down the cash registers. There was a long line and most people took it well, but one man became vocally abusive and yelled at her. Louisa remained faultlessly polite and unflustered. She kept the line updated as to what was going on (while she had a phone to each ear, trying to rectify the problem with IT) and apologized each time. She provided some of the best customer service I've ever seen. Even though I live some distance away from Elmwood Park, I will certainly shop there again.”
“I am grateful to live at The Fellowship Community. I knew that Fellowship members were encouraged to provide service to one another, and the idea appealed to me. One afternoon per week, I happily provide companionship care to our most fragile members who reside on our Care Unit.
As an independent member, I live in a lovely, two bedroom apartment in a lodge that has 10 apartments, and a spacious Common Room where we gather, for example: potlucks, films on our large screen T.V. and a meditation group.
A few things that I particularly enjoy are the pottery workshop, my raised garden bed in a community garden, and easy access to the Duryea Farm. We’ve recently acquired 3 dwarf goats, and I delight in visiting them to watch their antics.
I’ve observed that the people who are drawn to either work or live here appear to be highly conscious, intelligent and kind individuals. We recently celebrated Thanksgiving, and there was no separation between members, the staff we consider “co-workers” (many of whom choose to also live on our 80+ acre campus), and administration. Fellowship is truly a community.”
“My niece and my 2 kids went to this child care center 25 years ago, 18 years ago and 15 years ago, at that time they were the best, the staff are very professional, very caring, they make the kids feel like they were family. The kids love their teachers and the state of the art facility. Definitely recommend this daycare.”

“The care provided by the DSPs at Hamaspik of Rockland is truly exceptional. Every gesture, every word, and every moment reflects deep compassion and genuine dedication. They don’t just assist — they care, in the truest sense of the word.
Their patience and gentle understanding bring comfort and dignity to those they support. It’s beautiful to see how much heart they put into every detail, making sure each person feels valued and cared for. Hamaspik of Rockland’s DSPs are a shining example of what real, loving care should look like.”
“Well I work there, so I guess you could call me a little prejudiced. This is a mentally disabled, and/or partially physically disabled adult facility. They have a center where people arebrought in from Clifton and many different towns surrounding Clifton. Some are bused in by the center. Some are brought in by the people in there homes. They usually stay for a 6 to 7 hour period. There are quite a few Staff there to help them with many different projects, playing games and learning practical skills. Like cooking, cleaning and such. They're very well taken care of. They go on little trips to the store, etc. And they are all made to feel at home in a structured environment. This is a good place for special needs people to gather for time away from their homes, and for their family's peace of mind.”
“I use the service to have them check on my sister. They did the screaming and provided all of the information I needed to help me make a decision. They are very patient when dialing with clients in crisis.”
“I have been wanting to visit this thrift store.....and WOW! It's a small train depot...very quaint and the prices are extremely reasonable for name brands. Proceeds go to the local schools. Let's assist them in their humble goal! Cannot wait to go back!!!”
