I went to Elisa because my hair was damaged (bleached) in another hair salon in Wayne. She was so wonderful and help me with my damaged hair. My hair is much better and I love her haircuts. She definitely knows what she is doing!

Elisa ruined my hair! After having a consultation about what I wanted she took it upon herself to color my hair MUCH lighter than we agreed on. (In my opinion because she forgot I was there, she let me process way too long) Leaving my hair so damaged I had to cut over 2inches off, while the rest of my hair was literally breaking off! When I brought it to her attention that my hair was completely damaged she said " well thats what happens when you want to go lighter." I could not believe that was her response! After months of deep conditioning treatments my hair is still not back to normal. Still dry & damaged. I would not recommend going to Elisa on my worst enemy. Not only did I hate my experience there but her attitude didnt make it any better. Unless you want a money hungry, extremely rude stylist to make a botch job out of your hair i suggest never getting your hair done by Elisa!

I have been going to Jelena at Elisa Carril for about 7 years now. Every time I walk in their door I am warmly greeted. Every time I walk out, I am revived feeling good and looking great! I constantly receive compliments and requests for "who" did my hair. I proudly refer them as everyone who has gone there refuses to go anywhere else again. Simply put, they nail the perfect hair style and color every time using organic permanent hair colors. Nothing but the best!

Came here after Moxie in Ridgewood royally screwed up my highlights.... Yelena (I'm probably spelling it wrong!) was a GEM. She honestly looked at it and went "They ruined your hair.. but we are going to fix it".... This happened 2 days before my wedding, BTW. She saved the day, honestly. She was incredibly realistic, and told me that while she couldn't give me the hair I'd initially planned on, she could upgrade what they'd done and make it look natural and less like an over processed hooker. I will never go anywhere else for color. Pricey, but if there's one thing I've learned about hair, it's: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Oh... and the receptionist is a hoot. She was so sweet and helpful.

I recently found Elisa Carril Salon after asking several brunettes who did their color. They all said they go to this salon. I had a great first experience with corrective color and have since returned many times for hilights and hair cuts. I love this place!! Everyone is friendly, warm and professional. Stylists aren't working on 4 people at a time like at some other places. The care is very personalized and private. I highly recommend Elisa Carril salon for hair, makeup and nails.
