“Bob is old-school but he really knows what he's doing. I had front end work on a truck at another place and they recommended Bob's for an alignment. He did the work and I left on a trip. The truck pulled to the right so I thought there might be something wrong with the adjustments. I took it back and he checked the alignment, swapped tires positions, etc. It was a bad tire. I had the tires rotated to the rear and it runs perfectly straight. His work is very reasonably priced and he's a friendly guy!”
“Gabe greeted me at the door, and offered to assist me with whatever issue , I was dealing with, pertaining to my vehicle.
After a few important questions, Gabe went to work, he researched a couple of types, for the use I was about to put on them, then he suggested the type he thought I should purchase, based on the answers I had given him, I agreed, and he told me it wouldn't be more than ten minutes, as he was walking out, to retrieve my vehicle.

I do see some post about charging for Time doing nothing and you should know a job is done by a book it says 4 hours labor but if they can do it faster by there knowledge you are still going to pay if they take longer you will still only pay the 4 hour labor bill so your post on that is you need to understand how a mechanic charges for a job.”

“Great customer service and very knowledgeable of what was needed. Every one we dealt with was very kind and helpful.
We had a Tune Up on our 2016 Chrysler Town and Country Van. Since then it's ran with better acceleration and gas mileage. Price was better than other quotes!!
While doing the tune up, they noticed a crack in the oil filter canister, which was plastic (OME- original manufacturers equipment). We were very grateful they brought this to our attention, while traveling this could have caused serious problems. They replaced it with a metal canister, also taking more time (without charging us extra) to ensure the engine would not over heat and the oil pressure was correct.
We would recommend them to everyone for the quality of work and how they went above and beyond!”
“Took my Jeep here after it had been in storage for 4 years to get the check engine light looked at and have them install my backup camera for me. They were very nice and helpful and told me everything I needed to know! They fixed the issue and told me to come back if the light came back on and would check again!”

“On 8/23/24, we were driving in our RV between Alamogordo and Las Cruces and blew a radiator hose. We have been very satisfied customers at Alamo Auto for decades. Owner, Terrell, and his wife, were driving home after work. They recognized our vehicles stopped on the side of the road and stopped to help. After assessing the problem and assuring we had a tow coming, he arranged to meet us there. He bought the things he needed to do the repair and met us at the tow shop. Within 15 minutes, he had made the repair, replaced the coolant and water and sent us on our way! We had previously called for help in Las Cruces and the RV repair people we usually see were unable to see us for a week! Once again, Terrell came to our rescue! He is truly an angel in disguise, and we are so blessed to have him as our mechanic and friend!”

“Great experience. I took my truck in suspecting I had a transmission problem. The guys ran diagnostics and drove the vehicle. They determined my problem was not the transmission at all, but the fan clutch, which I had replaced when I put in a new water pump. I took the truck home and re-installed the old clutch. The problem I was having disappeared. I asked the guys when I was there about other things I thought may be needed, such as band adjustment. They were very knowledgeable and took the time to explain to me why they did not think I needed that service. They did offer to change the fluid and filter on my transmission, but I had already done that. I was very impressed with their honesty. They did the job that was needed and provided the solution without trying to upsell me or recommend work that was not needed.
