Bowlin's Running Indian is a store located on US 70 north of Alamogordo. It is an excellent place to shop with a little bit of everything for the whole family, featuring a tremendous selection of merchandise. This includes beautiful and unique gifts, NM collectibles, travel chachkis, jewelry, fireworks, rugs, and nut logs. It is a great place to stop, stretch your legs, and find a gift. The staff provides wonderful, friendly, and helpful customer service. It is also noted as a safe place for a pet relief stop. Visitors recommend planning a little time to browse the many items available.
This is a neat place for souvenirs & they sell very inexpensive fireworks year round!!

Nice clean store and restrooms. Nice workers. Just wish places would carry a 100 year license plate for route 66

My daughter, grandson, and I stopped in on our way from El Paso to Tucson. We're Michigan natives, and found the ambiance, souvenirs, and staff to be quite charming. Tom was the real MVP.
