Brought my 2015 F-350 in for a radiator issue. JR's replaced the water pump and radiator hose. I thought they had done a great job, they even said they found some places where bolts were missing and replaced them. However, when my truck broke down in Albuquerque a day later (unrelated issue), the Ford dealership mechanic said the water pump wasn't installed correctly. 2 bolts were missing, and 3 weren't fully installed. When I called JR's to ask them to take care of it, Mandy said I had to bring it back to them, which is fair enough. However, the truck isn't driveable, especially for over 3 hours to get back to Alamogordo. She said I could have it towed back, which is completely unreasonable. I had pictures, along with a certified Ford dealership mechanic saying there was an issue, and Mandy wasn't willing to work with me at all. I'm disappointed about the poor workmanship, and even more disappointed about the customer service.

Very unimpressed.Went for an alignment. On my drive home noticed that it was pulling right and steering wheel was off-center a decent amount.(Tires are brand new so that wasn't a part of the problem)When I garaged the car , I could visibly see the front and back toe along with front camber were uneven..I brought it to a different shop to have it checked out and was told who ever did the alignment previously did a garbage shotty job.I wasn't given a print out of the alignment before or after and I see why.Money's gone, but maybe this review will save someone else time and money.

Such a great shop. They were a life saver. Blower motor for the A/C went out in my car (it's the middle of summer, 100°+ daily), and I originally called Nissan in Las Cruces to see about getting it fixed. The Nissan dealership wanted to charge me $375 for the blower motor alone, plus another $400-$500 for the labor. I knew that sounded absolutely insane, so I went ahead and bought the blower motor myself from Advanced for $95, then called JR's, and I'm so glad I did. They got it done within an hour and a half, and charged me less than what the Nissan dealership was trying to charge me for the blower motor alone. They also replaced the air filter on top of it. JR's is definitely my new go-to for anything I'll need done with my car. On top of the great work, they were super chill and all-around great people. I can't give them enough praise. Original day or service: 07/10/2023.

They tried charging me $400 for a OEM fuel pump on a 99 suburban. It didn't sound right to me so I got one from AutoZone and asked him if I could bring the parts. They said yes but they wouldn't warranty it if something went wrong. Suspicious. Magically the day after they changed it my fuel pump went out again. Instead of dropping my tank my neighbor helped me cut an access panel under my carpet. Lo and behold they didn't connect the only electrical connection fully. The only thing they had to do was snap it in and verify that it was in. They thought that I was so stupid that I was just going to bring it back. Good try Junior I was an aircraft mechanic in the Marines.

Pretty pathetic to delete an honest review. This was originally posted last fall.BRACE YOURSELF. This is a little bit of a story but it paints a picture that I think is important to understand. There was about 1-2 weeks in between each visit.VISIT 1: We brought our van in because it was making a terrible grinding noise every time we first started it up. We were told the power steering pump was out and it was replaced (~$450).The grinding noise was fixed but was replaced by two new noises that were a constant whining noise and a different grinding noise when we turned. ALSO, a new leak.VISIT 2: Power steering line was now bad and replaced. I am no mechanic but it was a little suspicious as this power steering line was never an issue in the first place. There goes another ~$250.VISIT 3: The noises persisted so we brought the van back and were told the pump was bad. It is understandable that a remanufactured pump can be bad so that was replaced under warranty.VISIT 4: The noises were still persistent so we brought it back. The power steering pump is flushed. However, now we were told the power steering rack MIGHT be bad. The rack was the SECOND part that was never an issue in the first place but now was. Again, I am no mechanic but this is awfully suspicious because each time the van was touched, something else went wrong. So now, the original noise had been fixed but we had to deal with 3 new problems: 1) constant whining noise, 2) grinding noise when turning, and 3) new leaking fluid. The noises and leak still persisted. At this point, I took the van to Master Tune for a second opinion. I got a very concise report that: 1) The power steering pump had a leak in the shaft and was bad, 2) The hose that was replaced was still leaking where it was clamped, 3) there were metal shavings in the pump and 4) the power steering rack was bad. The mechanic also told me that, while occasionally a remanufactured pump might be bad, he has never heard of two pumps in a row being bad in his career.I call JR Auto and they say that they will replace the power steering pump with a brand new one under warranty (not a remanufactured one). I decided to use the warranty and take it back.VISIT 5: I told them to take their time because I didn't need the van anytime soon and just really wanted it fixed. New pump replaced and rack replaced (~$980). However, before we picked the van up, my wife got a call that the NEW pump was bad so they needed to replace it. So... two remanufactured pumps bad and a new pump bad. I hate to be accusatory but it really feels like something shady or incompetent was going on. Anyways, they replaced the pump for the 4th time. Guess what... we STILL had a leak.CONCLUSION:-The original noise was fixed after the pump was placed 4 times-I feel that we were understanding/patient customers but every time the van was touched, something else was wrong with it afterwards that wasn't an issue to begin with, yet we were charged for it (they did give us $100 off the rack repair but due to us feeling something shady/incompetent was going on, still felt wrong).-I can't in good conscience recommend this place to anyone. We are new in the area and, after discussing this with other people, I heard many times that the place has gone downhill after the original owner passed away. Take that with a grain of salt, just what I heard.

Complete waste of time, my car has more issues after brining it in. I now have to take it to another mechanic to fix what was damaged. What really pissed me off is they straight up told me they had fixed the issues that I brought it in for. Which I discovered was entirely false when I got back in my car. I just wanted to figure out what the creaking noise was coming from my front passenger side and instead have the same issue still as well as my car vibrating aggressively while accelerating or decelerating, bad fuel efficiency, and the brakes on the side that was "fixed" overheat now. Don't waste your time or money. Especially if you don't want to clean your car after cause they smeared dirt all in my floorboard, on my steering wheel, pedals, and gear shifter. You're better off giving a kid a hammer and letting them figure it out.
